    That's how I feel also, but I felt that way about tOSU when they played Miami about a decade ago.

    It's a bit different; Bama's D is on par with ND's, and ND's O is not close to 'Bama's. I just can't see ND winning, barring some big TOs.

    Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

    If you do the math, that is exactly 3.5 losses. But I think some of those are pessimistic (we will not lose to Illinois on the road and I am giving IU a huge benefit of the doubt when I give them a W in Bloomington and a push in AA). Now, is there some crazy game out there in which we go ice cold and all the ref calls go against us? Yeah, sure, but if it comes against PSU or NW or even Purdue, we still probably win. We are really that good. I think it's far more likely we lose a game in the BTT than lose more than three in the B10 regular season.

    ILL just blasted OSU at home.. Why would UM be immune to such a thrashing?

    Let me guess? Because they are soo much better than OSU?

    Yea, I mean, he's only led his team to some FF's and such. I mean, the man didn't even lose to Ohio in the first round of the tournament. What a schmuck.

    That is was people were saying about tOSU and Miami game. tOSU had a great D and Clarett. That Miami team was loaded, and I believe they were also favored by around 10, similar to this years matchup.

    Now, don't get me wrong, I think Bama rolls, but stranger things have happened.

    Thad Matta is a mediocre coach, at best. He is a great recruiter, but please keep him away from my bench. If you like him so much, maybe you can hire him to replace Izzo when he retires. As for us, we'll take a pass.

    Thad is a great recruiter and great Regular Season coach (think OSU's won RS B1G 4 straight years?).

    He's underwhelming in March based on the talent he gets, but has a nice run every once in a while (LY, Oden/Conley year)..

    Funny UMers looking down at coaches when B___'s been to 1 Elite 8 ever.. lol

    Welcome back dog. How was Disney?

    Exhausting, but in a good way. Disney is Disney, they know how to do things right. We spent a day at each park, and then spent 2 days at Universal. Universal felt like Cedar Point on steriods. They don't kick out the "magical" feeling that Disney does. Followed that up with a 4 night Disney Cruise with stops at Nassau and Castaway Cay. I told the wife that the cruise comes first in the future. We didn't stay up late like we had in the past on the cruise, we crashed early.

    Saw some of the Bowl game and the BB games vs CMU and NW. Still waiting to see what Lewan does (I expect him to go pro) and I am glad to see that Michigan is the clear leader for Green.

    My brother in law told me MSU is losing Bell, Sims, and Gholston to the draft? Big hits, but he also said that Cook will be giving Maxwell a run for his money for the QB spot last year.

    I think ND is going to have a big problem handling Bama's rushing game. And to do it they will have to bring up their safeties, something they haven't had to do much all year. That will open the passing game for Bama.

    Can I revise my projection? I think I was too generous to ND.

    Bama has run for more yards than ND gives up/game on average, 3 minutes into the 2nd quarter.

    This is at risk of approaching MSU - Bama Capital 1 Bowl level blow-out status . . . .
