lol Mark Richt is an idiot though shrug. So much talent has gone to waste under him.

He did better against Bama than Michigan.

They have underperformed in a lot of those seasons though, and lost to team’s they had no business losing too. UGA is not a hard place to win at. With all the NFL talent he had on those teams over the year’s he should have at least made a NCG once by now.

There are a other places that are not hard to win at that they are competing with. Florida, LSU, Alabama and then there are Tennessee, Auburn and USCe who are solid programs during his time. Winning their division and the the CCG is tough.

Throw in getting to the NC/ also involves finishing ranked higher than other teams that are not hard to win at, FSU, Miami, Michigan tOSU, PSU, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, USCw, Oregon, ND...

My fan base isn't saying that Richt sucks, yours is. Richt is better than Hoke and the Dawgs would own the B10.

You turned a discussion about Richt into a discussion about Hoke. Notice how we didn't turn it into a discussion about Dantonio or Meyer.

Would you rather rank basketball teams? Here ...

Rank the Big Ten basketball teams (Dec 2, 2012 Edition)

    1. IU
    2. UM
    3. OSU
    4. MINN
    5. MSU
    6. ILL
    7. WISC
    8. PUR
    9. IOWA
    10. NEB
    11. NW
    12. PSU

Ok I'm good with those. I've watched 2 1/2 games now, but I'm just as qualified. Those are fine

    Is that girls or boys?

Yea....well..... Hoke weighs more so he must be better, since there's more of him, ya know.

MSU isn't a very good football program.. takes year of consistent winning to get to that level. - copemoney 1/22/13

Hoke is 1-1 against Dantonio, Richt is 0-1. Clearly Hoke>Richt.

I don't think we're permitted to call them girls anymore. And TBH, after the PSU scandal, we probably shouldn't be using boys anymore either. But otherwise, I'm impressed with your post. Good to see we can finally agree on something without allowing our biases to creep in.

I'm not saying Hoke is better. I'm just saying that is poor logic.

Good. Outback Bowl last year was a very good game.

That said, Big 10 is going to get punched in the face repeatedly during bowl season.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

First of all, Schlabach is not a B10 guy. Second, I doubt the B10 had to twist the Capital One's arm to take Nebraska. They jumped over MSU to take UNL last year. But we will never know for sure (and that includes Schlabach, who is just guessing). Third, it makes more sense that the SEC intervened on UGA's behalf because A&M is hot right now and the Capital One very well could have wanted them. But again, it's just speculation. No one from the SEC or the Capital One is going to admit that publicly.

Edit: Also, the SEC already probably had to step in to avoid a rematch between Clemson and USCe in the Chik-fil-A. One of LSU, UGA or A&M needed to go to the CFA to avoid the rematch and that probably wasn't going to happen if the bowls were just allowed to just pick in order without somd SEC tinkering. By sending A&M, the SEC avoids the PR hit of having it be the SEC Runner-up. Makes sense.

This is why I'm skeptical he did it this year. Nebraska is a better pick than NW on every level. I doubt the B10 did anything other than possibly work with the SEC and the bowls to avoid a NW-Vandy rematch. We will have to wait and see where Michigan and NW land (either still could end up in the Outback, though Michigan makes more sense to me).

    2 PSU

    3. Wisconsin

Yep, can't hide amongst ourselves anymore. The b10 pillow fight season is over.

Watching the SEC yesterday it was amazing to see CFB played at that level. My eyes have been royally abused by watching B10 football this year.
