Hahahaha. I haven't been drinking. I've simply made 1 statement that you guys went apeshit over.
I don't understand what the problem is, Byrd is a phenomenal shooter. He has struggled after having some significant injuries and an offensive system that is much less conducive to perimeter shooting that B_____'s hasn't helped. When we're talking actual shot, Byrd's is better, that's just how I see it.

#8. That's one of the purest shots I've ever seen.

This is included in what I'm talking about. At some point, some of UM's players will start cooling off, and I think this will naturally pull down Stauskas' shooting percentage. When the team relies on him to drop 3's all day, and he has a bad game or two, let's see how well he bounces back.

I don't think he'll be maintaining this pace.
Good game against NC State though.

MSU fans seem real jealous of Stauskas. Hating on the kid, too bad he's been lights out all summer as well. Every person who visited Michigan raved about him, he's going to be a baller and an insane shooter.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

I don't think you understand, Stauskas is bred to be a lethal shooter. He is very good at selecting high-percentage shots, and it just so happens that he never misses said high-percentage shots. His mechanics are unnaturally compact, which is why every shot he takes looks like it'll cash. 10 of his 11 misses were rim-outs, 3 of which were in and out.
I don't see his 3-point percentage dropping below 50%. I feel he could maintain where he is currently, above 60%. It's easy to say this after all the hype he had as a shooter both in high school and throughout preseason, but to watch it over the course of 12 or so games has been a large enough sample size for me. When he puts up a shot I expect it to go in every time and I rarely feel this way, even when considering pure shooters.
With that said, I'll take you on any bet. 47.5%

Here is some required reading for xxmgobluexx and Mr. Woodson.
"The truth is, he has a better chance of winning it all in Fayetteville than Madison. And he'll win games. He's a good enough coach to win anywhere. And, really, how couldn't he go? There's better facilities, richer budgets, closer proximity to talent, the thrill of the big time, huge exposure, monster challenges, fresh rivals, and, of course, more money. "
You see that first sentence there? Dan Wetzel gets it. Read the entire article. Gosh darn it looks like Steve was right again, cha ching!

I must add, this line just hurts...
"This is the reality of college football right now. The Big Ten commissioner is obsessed with building a cable network. The SEC commissioner is determined to build the NFL Lite, where even the second- and third-tier programs are budding powerhouses. "
OUCH!
And this one...
"The truth is, Bielema must know if he fails on the big stage, he can always go back and find a big Ten program desperate to hire him. "
Oh man, talk about throwing salt on a wound. Lawd have mercy!

. If Michigan and OSU continue to be the only two schools who can recruit decent talent, then in a few years I don't see anyone else winning the B1G (or at least not consistently).
