Joey Brackets says IU and UM both project as #1 seeds. And Spartan and Badger fans can exhale for now ... he does have MSU and Wisky in the tournament despite their lackluster resumes.
#1 - Indiana, Michigan #2 - Ohio State #3 - Minnesota #4 - Illinois #5 - Michigan State #10 - Wisconsin

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Well braketology is based off past wins and results.
Unless MSU picks up their play those wins won't come quite as easily in B1G play. Beating lackluster to crappy teams in close games does not bode well when trying to predict MSU's future success.
Lucky they have a talented roster and a great coach so I expect them to pick it up. If they don't though I could see them being a bubble team that makes it in.

Point out where I said you wouldn't make the tournament Steve?
In fact in that post you quoted I pretty clearly indicated I thought they would make even if they didn't pick up their play. I also indicated I thought they would improve as year goes on.
Spartan posters other than Rocky are really touchy these days.

The world is collapsing around the spartan sports fan.
"The resurgence of scUM basketball has been the most depressing sports development in my lifetime, hands down. Not even a close second (and this is coming from a Mets and Bills fan)."

I don't get it, when did UM bball have a resurgence?
College bball is all about March, a month where UM has done absolutely nothing.
You all were going on and on last year about how UM had done so much, yet you lost to Ohio in the first round.
If UM does well in the tournament this year, I'll be the first to give props, but you haven't done a damn thing yet.

No, it isn't based off of wins and results, that's only part of the equation. It's also a prediction based on how a team is currently playing, as well as other factors such as talent, coaching, schedule, etc.
Joe Lunardi believes that MSU will in the tournament.
Guess what, he's been pretty accurate thus far. MSU hasn't missed a tournament since Lunardi has been doing ESPN's bracketology, and I don't think he's published one without MSU in the tournament yet. Pretty good track record for him as far as the green and white is concerned.
