  • Stauskas has an ugly shot, that's really why it doesn't seem sustainable to me.

I could definitely be wrong, I have been at least 8 times in my life. Just saying that there is only 1 thing I like about Stauskas' shot, and that's his quick release. I don't like his set-up, his arm motion (or lack there of), nor his follow-through (non-existent).

I used to play basketball with a kid who's shot looked almost exactly like Stauskas'. Obviously, the situations are ridiculously different. But what I will say is that this kid went entire weeks where he wouldn't miss, only to be followed by twice as many weeks where he couldn't score at all. I don't think Stauskas will be this bad, but I would be surprised if he didn't turn out streaky.

  • Those cheerleaders aren't hot. I mean come on. It can't be THAT hard to get a few hot cheerleaders, can it?

I'll be surprised if he drops below 50% on the season.

True it is a quick release, but he makes it work. He is a very consistent shooter.

Can't you read? It's not an excuse. We OFFICALLY we just unlucky. I'm not going to claims wins, but I'm considering this a 6-1 season right now. (ND whooped us, no bad luck needed)

I hated Reggie Miller's shot, ugly as sin, but boy could he shoot. I think Stauskus ends up around 47.5 for the year.

I like Trice's shot. Nice clean motion and follow through.

Michigan was 8-0, they were unlucky with the scheduling.

BS. ESPN only thinks you were the third most unlucky team. WE WERE #1!!!!!

  • It's nice that Michigan can suck and still be up 20. That rarely happened last year.

Agreed, to a point. Binghamton is one of the worst teams in CBB. Kenpom has them 344th, third worst, according to Mgoblog.

I didn't even know there were 344 basketball teams.

  • Here's how to defend Stauskus, don't defend him. He'll miss the shots.

I'd be shocked if he stays above 50% on the year given how many 3's he launches

He made 74/87 during a drill in practice.

I don't care if Michigan takes 100 three pointers if they're hitting them at a 42% clip.

Difference? Stauskus can shoot well in a game as well as practice.

Also, when did he do that in one drill?

Stauskus must handle game situations much better than Byrd then.
