I think I said last summer than UM can pin OL issues in '13-'14 on RichRod, should you guys struggle up front. You simply cannot make up for only having 1 OL recruit still in the program between 2 classes.
MSU fans are worried because Finely is the only OL recruit in the '13 class, but MSU took 4 OL last year. Apparently Jack Conklin "gets it" and could push into the OT 2-deep next year; he was a last minute addition. McGowan and Higgins are apparently "as advertised" at OG and Conklin's emergence has given the staff confidence to roll with just Finely should Matt Miller not flip from Wisky.
That said, I'd expect at least 3 OL in '14, if not 4-5.
One thing of somewhat random note, the '12 OL class for MSU came in as large as any I've seen. Everyone was at least 300 pounds, with Higgins at 307 and McGowan at 315. Not sure if it was good weight/bad weight, but it's odd to see after having guys like Jackson, Treadwell, Fonoti, Allen and even McDonald struggle to hit 300 (Treadwell's the only 300 pounder, the others are 280, 296, 295 and 298 respectively).
Heights and weights are far from everything, but it's hard for me to ignore that MSU's best run-blocking OL (2007, #25 ranked rush O) was also it's biggest (averaged 308 pounds across the board). Strength and technique are more important, but there's at least some correlation between bigger guys being stronger. It's not always the case (WMU 2 years ago had one of the top 10 biggest OL in the country and MSU ate them alive), just an observation more than anything else.

Michigans and Alabamas? Hahahaha. Oh man, that's good. Alabama is a program that might win their 3rd NC in 4 years and Michigan fans think they're on the same level as Alabama. Wow. Michigan is a great regional program. 3rd or 4th best program in the Big Ten, but they're no Alabama. Come on now. Alabama is probably the best program of all time.

Kulger is the lightweight center at 270. I don't know when these were updated though.
