    Yea, we heard about this over the weekend, and just confirmed yesterday that he was still committed. Still, he's a '14 kid, so a lot can change in the next 15 months or so. I wouldn't be surprised by anything.

    Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

    Does anyone think that in the next 20-30 years the whole realignment will come full circle? What I mean is that the 16 super-conferences become so bloated that they break off into 2 8-member conferences with better geographical alignments . . . like the Southwest Conf./Big 8, etc.

    I can see PSU, Maryland, Rutgers, Pitt, BC, Va. Va.Tech and . . . . I don't know, Temple or UConn just forming the Northern Atlantic Conf.

    Big 10 would be back at 10; Nebraska goes back to the Big 8.

    S. Car/Clemson/FSU/Miam(FL), Kentucky, TN, Vandy and . . . WVU make their own conf.

    Bama/Auburn/UGA/Miss/Miss State/TAMU/Arky/LSU go do their thing.

    I think everyone should go independent. Who needs conferences anyway?

    Yeah and Conley confirmed yesterday he was still committed to us. I'm not trying to flame, but you guys know as well as I do this kid is a big-time dual sport athlete and would be a huge get for any program. If he does happen to decommit, which sounds like it could be sooner rather than later, I will be really curious to hear why. He seems to love MSU.

    I'm sour about Conley, but I can see why Harris would jump ship to go to Alabama or ND.

    Edit: That is if he only plays football. If he wants a basketball career then he should stay at MSU.

    Well, as of right now, we have 0 indication that he's going to decommit. As I said above, he's a '14 kid, so who knows what'll happen in the next 15 months.

    I've also accepted the fact that people are going to start rumors about MSU's highest rated guys until the day they sign on the dotted line in Feb.

    I'd say the 2-sport attraction at MSU puts the Spartans over a squad like Oregon, USC, Bama, UM, etc. Izzo's a big-time pull and MSU is looking at being a NC contender over the next few years in Bball.

    Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

    I don't get sour over recruits. While I post on these boards, I don't care nearly enough to allow these kids' decisions to affect my life in any way. We will get who we get and lose who we lose, I just like to see how it goes down.

    And I do have a reason for believing this. If I was doing this to piss you guys off, you would've seen a lot of me in this thread prior to today. One of our most reliable insiders is strongly hinting at the potential. From what I've seen, it looks like a matter of when not if. I'm only bringing this up because I thought from day one Drake Harris was an MSU lock, especially after he gave his verbal. Also because he's a straight baller.

    Obviously this could all be nothing, but unlike Devidee, I don't find joy in kickstarting baseless speculation. I simply seek answers.

But (a) there has been some TomVH chatter in this direction lately and Tom generally doesn't chatter lightly and (b) I was serious when I said Mitch Again is usually a good source of info. I'm not saying he can't be wrong, but he's not someone on the boards making stuff up for a reaction.

    Kids 16 let him look around. He's earned it. If we're good enough, he stays. See the country kid, you've earned it.

    I'd go to USC Miami Washington Rutgers and Tulane.

    Then in Bball I'd go to Duke Peperdine some college near Augusta Maine and Depaul.
