Zero chance. They are competing with the Cotton Bowl for the new "champions bowl" and will not piss off the SEC like that. TBH, I doubt they would do it even if the "champions bowl" issue didn't exist, but right now would be an especially bad time to do anything that would upset their longtime SEC partners.

The Rose Bowl almost certainly will not have UF as an option because of the "two team per conference" restriction (Alabama to BCSCG and its replacement to Sugar). Similarly, if FSU wins the ACC, the Rose Bowl cannot select them because they will be locked into the Orange Bowl. I agree on ND, assuming Oregon goes to BCSCG and no other P12 teams are BCS eligible, but I believe it's very possible one of Stanford or Oregon State might squeak into the top 14. We will have to wait and see on that. Also, if Oklahoma wins out they will be on everyone's short list for a BCS at large.

The refs can cost the game, see GB vs Seattle this year. I wasn't saying they can't. I was saying, don't let that happen. There are plenty of plays throughout the game that if they went one way or the other, change the outcome of the game. Control what parts you can control, and then you won't have to worry about the refs controlling the part that they control.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Brian Kelly has that team playing at a level both of our programs would love to see. It's hard to argue with success at this point, they are undefeated and looking poised to run the table.
Sure they won a close game against Pitt, but so what? A win is a win.
