When max bullough's grandpa Hank started coaching in Buffalo years ago it was a lot darker at 8pm there in august then it usually is in Michigan at 8 pm. The buffalo reporters quoted him as saying "man it gets late early out here."

Georgetown defeats Tennessee 37-36. Wisconsin thinks they ran to much.

Haha. A co worker who doesn't like sports has his dad coming into town tonight. Dad likes sports. He asked me what to watch. I told him for the love of god don't watch the Georgetown Tennessee game. Pac-12 champ game would probably be his best bet. So far, I'm right.

A&M doesn't have much of a defense. If you can control the clock and keep Manziel in the pocket (easier said than done) then you have a chance.

10 starters on that '07 team ended up being draft picks. And that team still wasn't very good. I think this years team has maybe 5 or 6? Jake Ryan, Blake Countess (assuming he can recover from his injury), Denard, Lewan, and Devin Gardner. I might be missing some since I haven't payed much attention to draft coverage.

They'll have the choice of Nebraska and Northwestern, so probably Nebraska, with Michigan to the Outback and Northwestern to the gator.

The lineup I like the best for Michigan is Burke, Stauskus, Hardaway, Robinson, and one of Morgan/McGary. 4 legitimate scoring threats. This is the lineup that closes the game.
I wanted Stauskus starting, but some fans made good points that with Vogrich starting, Michigan can bring in a scoring threat like Stauskus in with other backups (not Akunne) and the offense can keep flowing.

I thought that also. But when the rotations start, there can be stretches of no offense with only 1 or 2 real scoring threats.

You guys were right. Izzo's still got a lot left. He's turned this team around in less than a week and has them firing on all cylinders. Has the look of a FF team at least. Bravo, Izzo. Bravo.

I used to get aggravated at every November loss. When you start watching Izzo teams, you realize how little November matters for anything other than development. We'll see a better indication of how good or otherwise this team is in Big Ten season.
