I think the target on Michigan's back is going to be that they're ranked in the top 3 and undefeated. Everyone wants to be the team that beat Michigan for the first time and knocked them out of the top 3 or top 5 or whatever.

The thing that will become interesting is whether or not opposing teams put a target on the um bb team. Teams in the B1G have always taken pride in beating MSU whether or not we were great or mediocre. For whatever reason teams in the B1G always seemed to circle our games. We have healthy rivalries with Illinois, Wisky, Purdue, UM, and PSU and NU always seem to play like final four teams whenever we play them. I have seen more teams shoot light outs against an MSU team that will make the final four than it seems happens to any other team. I don't see teams playing O$U like they would MSU. I don't know why it is, the closest was last year when Illini shot lights out against O$U and the kid who scored 40 or 50 points was making circus shots all over the place.

Well of course being good in football is huge, football is king. MSU is a football school that had been a massive failure for the majority of 2 decades. It makes sense that MSU fans would be dying for football success.
I had not realized that basketball success meant as much to UM fans, that's all.

Just because MSU lost them last year doesn't mean they would lose them this year..
My point was simply saying I would rather have UM's conf schedule than MSU's

Kentucky last year, 4 players over 30 minutes a game, another at 29 minutes a game. Their 6th man averaged 26 minutes a game, and the 7th player averaged 11 minutes a game. No other player in double digits for minutes per game.
I am sure you are know better than Coach Cal and Beilein.
