Washington was doing a lot of PA Rollouts with him. Not sure why, but it worked lol

So military academies are big time football programs panic

It depends on how big time you are. One tier is the Michigans, the Alabamas, the Floridas. Then you have the MSUs, the Wisconsins, the Iowas, then you have the CMUs, the EMUs, the WMUs.

I wasn't saying military academies were big time. I just said that it's a problem at all big time universities and even small schools and laces that have strict guidelines like the Army, the Navy, the Air Force sometimes have to boot people off the squad.

    lol

You quote him so I read it. He said Michigan and Alabama in the same sentence. He's like that QB who throws an interception a runs to the sideline and completely forgets what just happened. He watched 12 games this season, saw the talent out there and wrote thatine. I love it.

He should be the big ten's PR guy.

Doesn't USC only have 75 schollie players right now? So all college teams, don't have the same amount of players?

    Lol

OK. My point was BCS said issues would occur because UM is a big time program. Just didn't know what that meant since almost all teams have the same amount of players

So you are saying UM has the same standards for issues as the academies do?

My wife says to me: "I knew he would do great today because he threw it right to our guys last year, not like that guy we have this year".

Michigans and Alabamas? Hahahaha. Oh man, that's good. Alabama is a program that might win their 3rd NC in 4 years and Michigan fans think they're on the same level as Alabama. Wow. Michigan is a great regional program. 3rd or 4th best program in the Big Ten, but they're no Alabama. Come on now. Alabama is probably the best program of all time.

Yea, today was pretty much an audition for the rest of the league. Need a QB? Call Washington.

Really, this could not have gone any better for the 'Skins. They get the W, rest their star QB an were able to showcase KC to the rest of the league. They're going to get at least a 2nd rounder for KC now, maybe a 2nd and a 4th. Cousins should get the chance to start for some team (cough* Cardinals, Bills, Raiders, Jags . . . . . )

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Why would a team with a running QB (one who is out with a knee injury in his rookie year) want to trade away its only decent backup QB? My guess is KC isn't going anywhere for at least 2-3 years.

Because the skins need draft picks.

Using that logic, they should trade RGIII. They can get much more for him than KC.

Well that logic is airtight. Except that Kirk is going to sit on the bench for the majority of his time in Washington, and the redskins sacrificed their draft future to get rg3

QBs get hurt. RGIII already is hurt. KC appears to be a good backup QB, i.e. one who can keep the team competitive when RGIII is out. And he's relatively cheap. If Washington trades him, they have to replace him. And a proven backup QB in free agency will cost them more even assuming they can find one. I don't see how getting an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick will cover what they would be losing by trading Cousins.

Only 1 QB can play at a time. A #2 QB like KC is a luxury in the league, and Washington has holes to fill.

My guess is that someone makes the 'Skins an offer they can't refuse, like a 2nd and a 3rd rounder in next year's draft. Considering they spent a 4th rounder on KC, that's a hell of a return on an investment, and those 2 picks could help 2 other areas of the team. Looks like RGIII is legit as an NFL QB; that spot's locked up for the next decade +.

Yea, just checked Rivals; Norman has been removed from the list of football recruits.

Rivals has MSU with 3 of the top 10 (#6 Reschke, #8 Finely, #10 Holmes). Reschke is going to move up to #4 on Rivals (#148 overall), ahead of Dawson (#151) and behind Lewis (#147).

    Great haul for UM.

Ii love cousins. I think he's classy and a winner and gives 100% everytime out. However he had a good game against Cleveland. Just like Flynn did against the lions last year. Let's not get too excited. I was waiting for Gardner to play a decent team before I judged him also and even though OSU minus one 75 yard throw and run seems to me what I suspected, there is still not enough evidence to speak to any of those QB's.

One game does not make Cousins career.

This is MSU's 2nd highest average star per recruit class under Dantonio (3.13).. UM continues to pull in talent- MSU's also upgrading and being very consistent with its talent
