Working my way through the first Assassin's Creed. Haven't picked up a video game in awhile; it's pretty neat.
Good luck against S. Car.
Few thoughts from last nights game:
1) TCU's D was pretty good and their pass D better than even their 29th ranked eff. D seemed (played 5 of the top 12 passing O's in the country).
2) #1 aside, there are very real problems with the MSU passing attack. I don't know if Cook's the answer, but Maxwell just lacks "it". Protection wasn't horrible. If that doesn't get fixed in the off-season, MSU has an 8 W ceiling next year.
3) #2 aside, the receivers struggle to get separation. That's a bit worrisome; we'll see if Madaris gets some burn next year, along with Kings. Burbridge should be starting. Fowler did a no-show for the 2nd time this year.
4) 4 sacks was encouraging after MSU struggled to get to the QB all year. Shilique Calhoun looked like he made the most of his bowl practices, 2 tackles, both for loss, 1 sack and a QBH.
5) MSU's STAR LBs really really struggled; each only had 1 tackle.
6) Trae Waynes showed flashes of being a good CB, but he has a long ways to go to replicate Adams. I'd expect Dennard to move to boundary CB and Wayne to have the inside track at FCB.
7) Nice to see Conroy hit the game winner after so many struggles.
8) Mike Sadler is a great weapon
9) MSU was among the last teams in the country in fumble recoveries (5); kind of funny that a fumble recovery set up a huge TD.
10) Nice to be able to say that MSU has had 3 straight winning seasons and 2 straight bowl Ws vs. 2 losing seasons in 4 years.
11) Bell's gone, and I'd say Gholston as well. Not sure about Sims.

The one with the Templars? I think I reinstalled it on my computer and then forgot all the shortcuts on the keyboard and gave up. That being said I had beaten the game. I really wanted to get the second one and the third looks awesome, but then again I was always a fan of the Prince of Persia style of play it is based off of. I just don't have time to play games anymore unfortunately, and since I have a daughter I doubt she is going to want a video game system.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

I usually don't post in this thread, but I'm sorry I have to chime in. I totally disagree with that.
RB - MSU > UM. Michigan's RBs are not better than anyone's. We have no one. We may have Fitz, but he was terrible this year.
WR - MSU > UM. Burbridge is going to be a monster next year. Arnett will probably actually see the field (maybe?) and both are more talented than any WR on our team. We have two promising guys in Chesson and Darboh and two short proven guys in Gallon and Dileo.
DL - MSU > UM. To be honest, this could go either way. Depending on if Gholston leaves, it'll be a toss up. I think MSU will definitely be superior if he returns, and I'm not totally sure how their line would look if he leaves.
CB - We do not have the best CB tandem in the country. Or the Big Ten. Taylor still isn't proven and Countess will be coming off an ACL tear. He's not exactly Adrian Peterson. I have no idea what MSU's CBs look like next year, so I can't say if they're better or not.
I can't tell if you were trolling or a schtick or something, but yowza. Pass that kool-aid.

MSU RB - Nick Thompson is supposed to be pretty good, was on the scout team, to hold his red shirt, but WTF knows after all the sunshine we were given this year. Losing Bell is going to be big, and Caper I think had some leadership qualities, sucks he had so many concussions.
WR - Until MSU WR prove themselves, it probably is equal. If
MSU gets a new OC, that will help tremendously, otherwise everyone will know that we run on 1, pass on 2 and pass on 3 because it is 3 and long. Watch for the 2 yard crossing routes that end up 3 yards short of a 1st down.
DL - I'm just going to stick with MSU until otherwise proven wrong. Sorry, depth may be on um, but we have Nardog.
CB - MSU, although Adams will be missed. What position is Cox?

So in 2013: Quarterback Michigan>MSU Gardner is by far better than anyone MSU has.
Running Back Michigan>MSU Neither team is particularly strong at this position, but Michigan will get two 4 stars and most likely Derrick Green which would be the # 1 RB recruit. MSU has Nick Hill and a bunch of other guys who have never seen the field.
Offensive Line MSU>Michigan Michigan loses 4/5 players and MSU loses their two best Offensive linemen to graduation but returns everyone else. I believe Michigan could have an equal or better OL by the end of the season but they are young and will require time to jell.
Wide Receiver MSU=Michigan While Gallon and Dileo are better than any of MSU's receivers, MSU has more depth which cancels it out.
Tight End Michigan>MSU if Sims goes to the draft Michigan=MSU if Sims comes back Funchess is better than anyone MSU has at TE if Sims leaves.
Defensive Line Michigan>MSU MSU loses 3/4 members of their DL and Michigan loses 2/4 of their DL. Michigan also has more depth with Washington, Pipkins, Ojemudia, Black, Clark, and Beyer all returning.
Linebackers Michigan=MSU Jake Ryan, Desmond Morgan, James Ross, and Joe Bolden should give Michigan plenty of depth. MSU returns Bullough and Allen.
Cornerbacks Michigan>MSU Michigan should have the best tandem in the Big Ten and maybe the country with Blake Countess and Raymon Taylor. MSU returns Dennard but loses Adams.
Safeties MSU>Michigan MSU returns both their safeties and Michigan loses Kovacs. Michigan will probably be on the same level as the season rolls along but replacing a starter is always hard. Michigan will have a good deal of depth in this department with Thomas Gordon, Jarrod Wilson, Marvin Robinson, and Dymonte Thomas all competing for two spots.

Tyler hoover and Anthony Rashad White are seniors so you lose 2/4 regardless. I was actually trying to start a discussion with what I wrote. I didn't know people would get so offended. If I was trying to do that I would say that Michigan clearly had the upper hand in everything.
