What are you MSU fans hearing about Reschke? Nothing until after the Championship game?
When I first heard he received an offer I thought there was a 0% chance he would decommit from MSU and go to Michigan. With what some are saying though, I am bumping that up to 0.1% chance.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

No clue. He's 46. It's all about opportunities; I don't think he's going to take over a team just to be an HC. I actually wouldn't be shocked if his name came up at Purdue or the like.
My $ is on Mike Tressel taking over at DC if Narduzzi leaves.

Major HC jobs likely/possible to open this year ...
Arkansas Auburn Tennessee Kentucky BC NCSt Cal USC Purdue
Additionally, depending on who is hired to fill those slots, lesser jobs (e.g. Louisville, Cincy) might come open. If Narduzzi wants to stay at MSU, fine. My original comment was in response to someone who said he should go take a DC job at a higher profile school than MSU. I disagreed with that. But there are very few jobs on the above list that Narduzzi is likely to be considered for right now. Kirby Smart has been sitting around at Bama waiting for a "big" job and he has two nattys. FWIW both Gus Malzahn and Jim McElwain had to take big steps down to get HC gigs and they both were coming off nattys. Maybe Narduzzi stays and maybe he goes. I have no idea. But he is unlikely to get a HC job at a major school anytime soon. Maybe BC (which is a mess) or one of Louisville or Cincy, but I doubt he is at the top of the list for any of those jobs. Others would have to turn them down first.

Ok. Of course, he has to be offered the job before he can accept it and rumors are that Diaco is very high on BC's wish list. If I were BC, I would prefer a proven HC such as Al Golden if I could get him, You also have guys like Butch Davis floating around who are temporarily out of coaching but are looking to get back in. And NFL guys. BOB's early success at PSU probably has raised the stock of some NFL coordinators.

I don't follow this stuff like you guys do, but I've learned when a kid, for example, doesn't immediately say he's comin g back to play his senior year, he's gone. When a kid says he's coming back for his senior year, it's a 70-30 % he's staying. The thread I've read on this indicates to me this kid is 50-50 at best. Good luck to him, these things are tough. He needs to do what feel sbest for him. He obviously has been around MSU for a long time, perhaps things are happening in the lockerroom or on the field that he's not comfortable with anymore. This is a life altering pick for an 18 year old. I wish everyone in the media would get off these kids tails and let them be 18 year olds. I know it's way too late for that.

It's possible, but UMD is more a basketball school and I don't see them getting overly impatient with Edsall. They also don't have the money to buy him out. If someone like Kevin Plank (UA) decides to push for an early change, ok, but short of that I bet Edsall gets at least 3-4 years.

FWIW, Damion Terry tweeted that nothings going on or something.
I could see it either way. On the phone, maybe he confirmed the offer but then asked to have the interview pushed back. Or, maybe he was asked if he's switching and then says he wants to push it back. Either way, it's his decision to make and a tough one (especially with his good friend Morris going blue). I feel for the kid and hope he has the support system to make the decision that's truly best for him.

"Saturday after the game against Northwestern the last two players to leave Spartan Stadium were senior linebacker Chris Norman and junior defensive end William Gholston.
We’re told Norman looked right at Gholston and point blank asked him if this was his last game in East Lansing. Gholston told Norman he’d be back next year [b]“no matter what.”[b]
Stay tuned ...
**Junior running back Le'Veon Bell is leaning towards giving up his senior season to enter the NFL draft early, according to our sources. Bell is still weighing out his options. A source close to Bell said he doesn't mind the workload he gets each week, he just wishes there was more diverse playcalling.
60/40 Gholston is leaving. "No matter what".

Ok, Sparty. No more wasting money on fancy scoreboards with too much advertising. It's time to pony up some coin to get back into D-1 lax.

. I've always called it like I see it here. If MSU has warts, I dont' think I've ever covered them up. It's just when I say I think MSU is good or u of m lacks something that feathers are ususally ruffled. Meh, I dont' care, either way I've never lied to myself on this board like so many choose to do. I've been wrong sometimes, but I won't lie to myself. I see what I see. (or at least what I think I see)
