no offense guys, but I really think people are bothered by injuries and wins/losses if a big part of your life is how you get an identity out of the school you cheer for. These message boards obviously exasperate those feelings of joy or depression. It's great when the team you love wins, and you sure feel like kicking the dog when your team loses, but come on, it's a game. To fret over an 18 year old kid who might or might not play is beyond my scope. Whoever we have has to step up. It's why we give them scholarships. Same with the guys who hang on 16 & 17 year old kids decisions as to where they're going to matriculate. Big deal. It's like this great achievement in some peoples lives has been reached when a kid signs at somebody's favorite school. (often not even attended by said person) Then they'll scream at you "If you don't recruit, you won't win..." blah blah blah. Get a life.

I like watching the games for what they are. Sport, strategy, decisions. Sucks when we lose, but I'll be damned if it's ever changed a thing in my life. If someone gets hurt, or a bad call is made, what are you going to do to solve the problem becomes bigger and more interesting then lamenting it. Who steps up? That's the human drama that intrigues me.

I feel bad about this injury for the young man and his family. I don't feel bad for Tom Izzo or the Spartans. Do something about it. Get it done. It's why we gave you a scholarship, and it's why we pay Izzo millions. How many times have you been on both ends of a win/loss and someone is either giving you an excuse as to why they loss (injury-refs-crowned field) and you just dont' give a crap or you're the guy giving the excuse and after it still doesn't change the fact that your team lost. I'm going to watch the Spartans in the next game now. Know why? I want to see who is either going to step up for this kid, or who is going to think poor pitiful us, we have no chance at life now.

    Whens the next game?

Can you tell us again how you are insecure about recruiting? Oh, and I thought most people would base their achievements on what they do in their life, but obviously I am wrong and you see through it all. If only those poor souls could be as unique as you think you are. lol

Doesn't surprise me you don't grasp what I'm saying. Just chalk it up to another day where Steve is right. My track record speaks for itself.

I grasp it, but you're full of shit, again. Track record? 2 things I know of in regards to a track record with you. Leyland couldn't get the job done when needed, and a non-sunbelt team is competing for a NC.

Nope, MSU was good just missing a few impact players. When they're back we are going to roll.

Yea, MSU didn't play a great game if they could barely beat BSU at home. It is all a mute point, MSU is a good team, they will win their fair share of games, with or without those that were missing last night.

That's what sports and message boards are. If nobody cared about them it wouldn't be fun to follow.

Yea, nothing wrong with any of this.

Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving!

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

MSU shot .578 from the field. I hardly call that a bad game. They were just missing their best players, and the refs gave Boise a good 4 point gift.

Doesn't look like a bad night by the stats, we were just missing a few crucial impact players.

I offer solid arguments and facts, you just offer up soft opinions on a game you didn't even watch.

Excuse me while I brag in third person but Steve wins again!

Also, you forgot my call on Tom Coughlin. I still can't believe how many of you think he's a bad coach.

What was your call for MSU football this fall? Did you call them being 5-6 right now?

Not exactly the best move, because if they win it looks like a lame prediction and if they lose ... well, let's not even think about how sad it's gonna look if they lose.

He clarified later and said he didn't guarantee anything, that's just the mindset they take every game, expect a win

What the hell, my coach should guarantee a win every week. I'm good with that.

Meh, I guarantee a win. If we lose my boy Jimmy Henry won't get off my back. So I'm all about beating Minnesota. Second biggest rival after Indiana in my book.

Good to see you guys are final switching to rivals you have a realistic chance against. It's better for your blood pressure.
