I mentioned this earlier, but going through the 2008, 2009, and 2010 classes a ridiculous amount of those kids left before 2 years. The top 10 ranking might be more of a factor if more of those kids stayed, but they didn't, that's why the depth at QB, WR, OL, and DL is poor.

It was in that book about UM and Rich Rod- though they didn't name the coach who did it- the writer later came out and said it was Florida

Attrition happens to a lot of schools. Theres no guarantee it won't happen to Hoke. Especially if a lot of the 4* kids get pissed off because they don't start

It won't be that big of a problem anyway if a few players transfer. We'll just replace them the next signing day.

Just looked a the recruiting stars, USC on paper has as good if not better recruiting class. The star rating is the highest in the country, they have more 5 star recruits and both USC and LSU are slated to pull ahead of Michigan. I'm not a huge fan of recruiting, but when you have 5 star talent I'm more inclined to believe that player is going to win a natty and get into the pros than a class full of 4 star recruits. USC is still pulling in this type of talent in spite of the recruiting sanctions.

USCw has an unreal class. They may end up with the best star average class in history. Michigan will have back to back top 10 classes, I like where they are headed.

The top ranking class rarely means squat though. Looking at ND, Georgias and UofF, UofT and Miami's recruiting they should be world beaters in football by your logic.
USC is more likely to win the PAC than Michigan the B10. USC is predicted to be in the run for the natty this year, I don't see Michigan in those same predictions.

You can turn a blind eye to it, but you need a top 10 recruiting class to win a Natty of late.
I don't see Michigan making a run at a Natty either, this year.
