The difference is tBB is supposed to be for everyone. Rcmb is not. If rcmb wants to permit cussing, that is up to them. And, frankly, if certain boards want to allow racist comments, that's up to them too. I would be embarrassed if I was a member of such a board, but they have their own rules and mods and I will just stay away from tho boards. But tBB is supposed to be common to all schools. And it already has rules that bar racism and personal attacks. It even has a LNC thread that ignores every one of those rules, which should give anyone who feels the need plenty of opportunity to be racist. We shouldn't have to put up with it on the rest of tBB.

Yea, I opened up the LNC thread early this morning. It looks like an anything goes thread.

Fair warning. If you bash a mod I'm going to ban you. Go ahead and keep the opinions on the mods/staff to yourself. If you have a major concern about them you can PM me or of course PM JC Shurburtt.

How am I bashing a mod? I simply quoted him. Was he bashing himself when he wrote that? Does any criticism of any mod constitute bashing? If not, can we get a definition? Because I apparently don't know what we are talking about.

Fair enough, but there is a problem in my eye's when a mod states that those complaining are pansies and another mod states that he is going to ignore the rules laid out for this site.

Yeah, click on "Contact Us" it should have all the mods in there. I think MM is probably taking a break right now for a little while though. If you don't want to PM one of the mods go ahead and leave them out of the PM. If you want to just PM me that is fine but I may either not be on or be too busy to do that stuff. It may take a little while for me to get to the PM case. Just try and point out specifically which post you are referring to and a link. It makes it a ton easier for me to know exactly what it is so I don't have to read through the whole thread. I will let you know if I disagree with taking action though.

    Noted and will do.

Just an fyi I don't offend easily, but I saw some stuff on here the last few months that were out of bounds IMO. In terms of football it would be a PF 15 yards automatic 1st down. I've been on here over a year and I have to say for as long as I can remember the board has been a-okay with me.

I had concerns about upping my membership and just prior to the CFB I plan on upping my VIP membership.

    Thanks again.

I think we just stick to the game plan: ID the racist/homophobic stuff and PM the mods.

In MSU news, Draymond Green signed a 3 year deal with the Warriors. I don't quite know how his skills will translate in the NBA, but it's pretty nice to see him make the league.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

LNC has different rules. Don't PM me about that thread. If you don't like cussing and all that stay away from the LNC thread.

As much as i want that to be true. I dont think either of those are green, and if they are, I don't think either decide till NSD anyways.

Greene or Mcquay is a possibility. McQuay scheduled to decide today, even though he told Hoke he wasn't ready yet last friday. Maybe he saw that Greene didn't commit and wanted to jump on that last scholarship?

could be that if Bryant flips to Auburn Green is going to go to Michigan
I'm sure that one of the schools is us after the warning signs this weekend don't know who the 2nd team is

Lost, 3-7. Started off with a Jackson solo shot and a stand-up double from Berry. Heart of the order whiffed. Next inning, get bases loaded, but only 1 run scores. Bad baseball from the Tigers.

To all the regulars in here, and anyone who supported the "movement" yesterday, be extremely careful about what you say in here for the near future. Don't even swear. We've got a target on our backs for bans. I think that every rule will come into play and be dealt with swiftly.

    Wow, who is that?

I disagree that it has to be a PR killer for this site, all they have to do is come out and say they don't approve of it and set forth a policy that is enforced.

I think if we just get back to the MSU - UM discourse we'll be fine.

    On that note . . .

State leads for IL DE Demetrious Cooper. He had a strong Sound Mind/Strong Body camp and word is he'll be visiting with his mother in August. If she likes everything, he'll commit to MSU.

In the grand scheme, Cooper is part of Core 6 athletics, a Chicago-area athletic training group. Other Core 6 guys include LTT and Ethan Pocic from the '13 class, and Nyles Morgan (LB), Clifton Garrett (LB) and Brian Allen (OG/C) from '14. Core6 has been tweeting that they really like MSU (the organization), Garrett has MSU and tOSU on top of his list right now and is scheduled to attend 3-4 MSU home games this year and Brian Allen is the brother of MSU RS FR OG/C Jack Allen.

Nothing's set in stone, but MSU is looking to reverse the past 3-4 year trend of doing little to nothing in IL as far as recruiting goes.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Yes, do you have anyone on O or D that you think is a bit of a sleeper right now, that will have made a big statement by the years end. For us, I'm going with lb Joe bolden. He made a lot of noise in spring practice which kind of takes away the sleeper title, but I say it still applies as he is a true frosh, and we return all 3 of our starting lbs. I think he will take over as a starter by midseason. Kid is super talented, nose for the ball, and a great athlete. I think he is going to have a great career at uofm.

Hmm....there's a few RS FR in the two-deeps who have gotten good reviews but haven't had any playing time.

DE Joel Heath - He's Will Gholston's backup and similarly imposing at about 6'6 265lbs. Supposedly had a great spring. Good athleticism out of high school but didn't have proper coaching so his technique was raw.

DE Shilique Calhoun - Marcus Rush's backup on the other end. Came in at like 6'4 220 and is up to around 240lb. Drew phenomenal reviews during fall camp and almost had his redshirt pulled when Will was suspended for the Wisconsin game. Apparently when Se'Von Pittman flipped to OSU, one of the coaches just said "Oh well, good thing we still have Shilique Calhoun". His frame fits the speed rusher type, will be interesting to see how it ends up.

Also keep in mind that these guys replaced Corey Freeman and Denzel Drone as the backup DEs without actually playing in a single game. Drone and Freeman have seen a decent amount of playing time in the past 2 seasons, so I wouldn't think they'd be replaced super easily.

LB Darien Harris - Narduzzi thinks he could probably start for us. Backup STAR to Chris Norman. Given Norman's injury issues, he could get some time to give him a breather and also PT in blowouts. Used to be a HS Safety like Denicos Allen, a bit light for a LB but supposedly can fly.

S Kurtis Drummond - RS So. this year I think, will be the favorite to win the starting free safety job. He played nickel for us last year and did pretty well, getting a pick against ND and generally solid overall. Probably doesn't have Trenton Robinson's speed but might be more athletic overall. I think he will end up being really good this year, but will be overshadowed by Johnny Adams and Isaiah Lewis.

DEs Joel Heath and Shilique Calhoun and LB Darian Harris. They're all RS FR this year, so we'll see how they work out.

Reason I cite them is because MSU returned all their DEs from last year . . . and Heath and Calhoun beat out last year's 2nd string guys (Drone and Freeman) to be the back-ups this year. As a result Drone as moved to TE and Freeman is now 4th string. The two incumbents were decent back-ups last year, so MSU fans are feeling good that a pair RS FR have already exceeded them.

Darian Harris is now the #2 "STAR" LB, backing up Chris Norman. Most figured Tai Jones, the only '11 guy to play as a true FR last year, was a lock for that spot, but Harris played so well that Jones may be moved to DE.

On O, I'd say AJ Sims Jr. at WR. He's only 5'9, but people have raved about his hands and route-running. He'll split time with Arnett in the slot. Also, RS FR OG/C Jack Allen (6'1 295) has gotten a lot of love from the staff; nearly had his RS pulled last year. He's the back-up at LG right now, but may move to C next year and Jackson (current C) may move to Chris McDonald's spot at RG in '13.

Again, all speculation, but those are some names you may hear in the next few years as up and comers.

Edit: Apparently Macks types fast than I do lol
