You don't understand how spreads work, do you?

I'll admit that I don't, but Michigan will be a national title contender in 2014. It all depends on how good Appalachain State is in 2014. They were 3 peat national champs in 2007. If they are around .500, I couldsee us beating them by 50-60 points.

I'll explain. +70 means that you would spot me 70 points, so if Appy state lost by less than 70 points (i don't care if they were an FCS champion or not, a top 20 division 1 team should beat them easily) I would win the bet.

You just won't see teams beating other teams by 70 points. Even Bielema who runs up the score got to 63 points vs Indiana. Once you get up 30 or 40 points in the 2nd half, your backups and 3rd stringers come in, and you run down the clock (unless you're Bielema).

I disagree on this. I think Michigan will steadily improve and be a team that can compete with almost anybody by then, but I don't think Michigan will be a national title contender until Morris is in his second or third year as a starter (and yes I'm assuming that Morris is going to be as good as advertised).

He said he thinks Michigan plays their way into the top 10, they just don't deserve to start there. That doesn't make sense if you ask me.

Another thing I thought was interesting was when the players talked about the Bama game, their response was 'Yea, this is why you come to Michigan, to play in these types of games'

As I peruse through the future schedule, I see UCONN, Utah, Colorado, Oregon State... wasn't exactly sure what types of "games" the guys were talking about
