That's not what I'm saying. MSU's defense isn't as good as Alabama's.
I do recall, however, you discussing MSU's defense having given up 13 points to Boise. That's all I was referring to.
MSU isn't perfect, isn't the best team in the country, and will certainly encounter struggles this season. The sooner you realize that most MSU fans understand this, the sooner you'll stop sounding so arrogant and foolish.

What if I said Miami of Ohio scored almost as much on Boise as MSU did...and MSU had a home game. Would you say MSU's offense is as good as Miami's?
MSU's offense have shown some flaws (bad throws, low YPC for RBs, etc.) And so has Michigan's Defense ( some 1O- 15 yard runs allowed to UMass, playing true frosh LBs, etc.) The Michigan defense can be average to good in the B10. Their numbers look kinda bad because of playing Bama and the triple option. The offense likely will be the best in the big ten. That easily competes for the B10 title.

You are a good poster. I agree with much of what you've been saying.
Sidenote: I still think Denard is a much better passer than some of you guys are giving him credit for. Obviously, we will find out in the coming weeks.

Roushar once again fails to realize what's right in front of him. Run the freaking ball. We were telegraphing our plays and Bell was still getting 4 YPC. The entire 3rd quarter should have been a series of handoffs and play action slants and crossing routes.
Starting to wonder if Kelly just owns him.
Hope this doesn't mean we're in for another bloodbath against Nebraska...

Their CB's haven't been great, our WR's have simply failed to make plays.
Fowler catching that TD changes this game pretty drastically.

ND played very well and is an underrated team Imo. But that doesn't mean that there weren't any ways we could have given ourselves a better chance.
I'm not claiming it was our game to lose and we blew it, I'm simply saying that Roushar didn't give our players a good chance. Regardless, how is being irritated at the OC an excuse or demeaning to ND's accomplishments? The OC is as much a part of the team as anyone else. Saying MSU didn't play well is a clear and obvious fact.

Well, I think we will score more than 3 next week. Problem is we WILL give up more than 20. Our D has me very nervous for the season. Losing countess changed my outlook on the season, maybe 8 wins IMO now (instead of 9-10 as I originally predicted)
