Is Dantonio still in the weeds looking for threats?

I'm going to check out of this thread for the night. You guys need to do this. It means a lot I know. Enjoy the evening.

    Lulz.

Pride before the fall Mark. Live it.

The sweet irony that almost inherently exists within this phrase, (as it is now used by both sides, not how it originated) is quite comical.

Indeed. Actually solid words of wisdom by Coach D, he should have just told him team/fans.

Wonder what Sparty players who tweeted about Denard are thinking right now?

Probably wondering what to do with all of the energy they built up today, considering they don't play in the game anyway.

I still wasn't particularly impressed with Denard. He limited turnovers, but I think the UM defense won the game way more than him.

Denard made the plays he had to make. His read/option sucks, and that one throw to Gallon needed to be on the money, other than that I was impressed. He played like a tough SOB vs. a tough Spartan defense, and made plays when had to end of story.

MSU isn't a very good football program.. takes year of consistent winning to get to that level. - copemoney 1/22/13

Good that the rivalry is relevant. Next year should be fun.

I can't wait to see Michigan's defense in two or three years when (I'm assuming) they have even better players on the field.

Will be interesting next year. Our defense should be real good next year. But the offense will be suspect. We have the potential to lost 4/5 starters. Will be a very young offense. Could see 3 Rs. Freshman starting next year. Will be nice to back to a Pro Set though. As long as Denard stays at WR and Bellomy becomes the starting QB we will have an okay offense.

The defense will be what carries us next year.

  • I'm just glad that Bell didn't jump over one of our players.

This was a great game that I thought we (UM was) were going to lose.

    Maxwell looked very good.

Hey now, Roushar is a good guy. Dantonio should hang onto him....forever.

Borges's logic: Let's run it up the middle (Denard is stopped for no gain).

Next play: Let's try that again (Denard with a two yard loss).

3rd down: Now that we are in an obvious passing down let's put Denard's superior decision making and accuracy on display (Denard with an incompletion that was tipped at the line of scrimmage and almost picked off).

If people don't recognize his toughness they have their heads up their asses. Guy takes huge shots multiple times a game and always bounces back. His mental toughness is just as impressive IMO, he comes back from horrible games very easily and his confidence never waivers.

Great leader and QB for Michigan. People like to dog on him because he isn't your prototypical QB and has obvious faults, but the guy gets the job done.

Go figure the rcmb blames the refs

If anything the refs helped MSU out with their calls today with the 10 seconds mysteriously going off the clock from 42 to 32 and a few missed pass interferences.

and let's not forget the uncalled roughing the passer on the deep ball Gardner dropped. MSU lineman just whacks Denard in the head well after the throw, no big deal obvvvv
