    Well that's interesting considering some things having been said about Dantonio being inconsistent on this.

    Wonder how many "Dantonio'isms" Hoke will successfully throw in some of your faces....

    Conley will no longer be considered a commit from what I've gathered. Michigan will just continue to recruit an outstanding young player.

    As well as Conley. If we finish the class keeping Conley, getting Green, and landing Treadwell I will be ecstatic. Class is great either way, but that would make it an elite bunch.

    I want another DE, so we need to find a way to squeeze one of those in too.

    Don't get me wrong I wanted Arnett the first time, and the second time around.

    But with the way he has carried himself throughout the process in his career, is this any surprise? Kid thought he was brilliant because he dominated camps, and had a bunch of people hanging off his every word on twitter about his recruitment (pathetic but true) and he abused it through the process.

    Just seemed like an immature entitled kid to me.

    Glad I don't follow recruiting, last thing I need to follow is some 18 year old ring leader running a media circus.

    Green I'm a lot more optimistic about than Treadwell. With Auburn being a dumpster fire right now, it seems like we would have a legit shot.

    Except no. I'm telling you that in this instance it appears that is not true. Michigan will continue to recruit Conley regardless if he visits other places or not.

    Agreed on Green and Treadwell, they would just be icing on the cake.

    yea, that's the thing to remember; you guys have a great class on paper, and when you lock up 95% of your class by July, the finish is never really going to be that exciting. That shouldn't change the fact that you guys got a lot of great looking prospects.

    Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

    Oh, I'm on your side. You seem able to adjust your viewpoints based on new facts.

    It's simply funny that many UM fans ripped on Dantonio for being "inconsistent" with his post-verbal campus visit policy, that's all.

    Now I'm bitter about it.

    I hope that's the case as it pertains to Oregon. Conley is being pulled in two directions by his mom and dad and it's possible the coaches are trying to be understanding about the realities of the situation. I don't feel the same regarding OSU. He had plenty of chances to visit OSU before committing to UM and that has nothing to do with his mom wanting him to check out schools on the West Coast.

    Did Michigan stop recruiting Dawson? serious question. Did he just realize he didn't want to be there? He seemed like he loved Michigan but wanted to visit other places, then completely left Michigan out of his top 3.

    Michigan pulled his scholly because he was being shady and planned visits to other schools (Florida) without informing our coaches. In fact I believe he was intentionally misleading them. His decommitment was a result of the coaches no longer wanting him in the class, however it seemed inevitable he would have opened up his recruitment at some point regardless.

    I think there's an 85 percent chance we get Treadwell. Remember that he canceled all of his visits except for Michigan. I'm not really sure about Green. It doesn't seem like he's as high on us, but where is he going to go? Auburn and Tennessee are two train wrecks and I think he'll wind up on our lap.
