I am not holding out hope for Denard, until I see him play.
What is a decent team for him to be compared to, that is left on the schedule? Minnesota has one of the top passing efficiency defenses in the B1G right now.
I felt that Michigan was going to be a 7-8 win team next year with Bellomy or Morris at QB, I feel better with Gardner at QB, even if it slighty hurts the WRs.

Bowl projections were being brought up on RCMB and the B1G would get BOMBED in these scenarios. 0 wins and all blowout losses are likely
Rose: Wisconsin vs BCS At-Large (Oregon to the NCG, so Oklahoma? Notre Dame?)
Capital One: Michigan vs SEC (Florida)
Outback: Nebraska vs SEC (SEC East winner, Georgia?)
Gator: Michigan State vs SEC (South Carolina)
BWW Bowl: Northwestern vs B12 (Texas
Meineke: Minnesota vs B12 (TCU or OKState)Gator doesn't want Northwestern, so MSU will most likely get bumped up because of that, assuming we win out. Ticket City and Pizza Bowl will be left unfilled, and if Minnesota loses to Illinois, Meineke will be left unfilled too

Spot on Dwags.
I realize it sounds differently when a Michigan fan says it compared to when a MSU fan says it, but don't put yourself in a position where the refs can decide the outcome. Allowing Nebraska to run for over 300 yds, having Nebraska WRs running free... Hell, some MSU fans were harping on Minnesota not blitzing when had a 3rd and forever, MSU should have done the same thing when they were in a similar position.
As you said, MSU just isn't good enough right now. If this team takes the steps it should in the offseason, they will be challenging for the division and league title next year.

It wont be OSU or Stanford. If Oregon goes to the NCG, Rose bowl becomes an at-large, think TCU vs Wisconsin a couple years ago, i dont think they get another P12 team since USC has been so awful and Oregon State will lose to Oregon the last week of the season which should knock them out of the top 14.
South Carolina will destroy MSU, Texas Tech would destroy Minny.
Indiana will not get to a bowl game.

Agree on IU (probably misses getting to a bowl). Disagree on Oregon State. For some reason, the media loves them. If they beat Stanford and lose to Oregon, I think they will be on the bubble for being BCS eligible. Alternatively, if Stanford loses to Oregon but beats Oregon State, they will be on the bubble. It's possible neither will be BCS eligible, but it will be close and depend on which other highly rated teams lose again from here on out (e.g. South Carolina, Louisville, USC, UGA, UF, Rutgers, Oklahoma, etc).

That's a bold stretch. Even if State pulls out the win yesterday, the only way it would have helped is if Michigan won out. And even then, that just puts us in the B1GCG against most likely Wisky.
It's not even close to a lock that Michigan gets to the Rose Bowl with a Nebraska loss.

Oregon State is 12 in this weeks coaches poll, so they're pretty close to the bubble already.
I can't see the rose bowl passing up Florida, FSU, or Notre Dame though. Rose Bowl gets first pick too btw if Oregon goes to the NCG, so they pretty much get to pick from anyone besides #1 and #2. I cant see them picking Oregon State with that pick, unless they want to preserve the B10 vs P12 thing, which they proved they didnt by picking TCU over Stanford in 2010.This post has been edited 2 times, most recently by MrWoodson on 11/4/2012 at 11:37 AM

The Rose Bowl almost certainly will not have UF has an option because of the "two team per conference" restriction (Alabama to BCSCG and its replacement to Sugar). Similarly, if FSU wins the ACC, the Rose Bowl cannot select them because they will be locked into the Orange Bowl. I agree on ND, assuming Oregon goes to BCSCG and no other P12 teams are BCS eligible, but I believe it's very possible one of Stanford or Oregon State might squeak into the top 14. We will have to wait and see on that. Also, if Oklahoma wins out they will be on everyone's short list for a BCS at large.

I think Nebraska/Wisconsin would get blown out by anyone other than Oregon State (not sold on them, at all) or Stanford which would be tossups. If Michigan gets to the rosebowl, i think they beat OSU or ND, with a tossup with Stanford and whoever else gets picked (except an SEC team)

An SEC team will NOT play in the Rose Bowl unless Bama loses and the SEC is shut out of the BCSCG. If Bama reaches the BCSCG, the Sugar Bowl will select UGA//UF/LSU as its replacement. No more than two teams from any conference can be selected to BCS bowls.

I don't buy the argument that refs don't cost games.
The Ohio State game and the Nebraska game are always going to leave me wondering what the outcome would have been if the refs had got it right.
On the same hand you have to look at the games you won in the past off of a bad call. It goes both ways.
