Treating my son to. Zingerman's Reuben samich. Delish! Although....$30 for 2? Good lawd.

Last time I was in EL I went to Golden Harvest. It's not too pricey, but you pay with hours of your life. Waits are easily over an hour just to get in.
Very funky interior but that is one mind blowing breakfast.

I asked earlier, but I think it got lost in talk of the upcoming games. What do the two coaches think about banning tackling in football for kids under 14?
I guess there's two sides to the debate.

Honestly, the problem with youth football has less to do with the physical dangers and more to do with oved zealous parents and clueless coaches.
Football should be fun for those youth. Instead, parents think their kid's gonna secure his spot as a 5star from their performance in a youth game. It's pretty shameful.

Would the sport suffer if kids stop tackeling before 14?
Is there risk that once the kid reaches 14 and is tackling for the first time they're more susceptible to injuries?

Reading Rexrode he's considering this a down year for us.
Sounds like the leadership void is going to be a huge issue for us.
I think Costelo needs to step it up and contribute at PF, Byrd needs to contribute from the outside shot (I'll believe it when I see it) and Appling imo needs to man up and lead the team.
Time to step up and become the face of the program.

Jordan Morgan. He's a 6'8" forward but basically played center (undersized) last year because we didn't have anyone else. He has lost a little weight and looks more nimble on the offensive end. We also now have a 6'10" FR (Mitch McGary) and a 6'10" injured center (Jon Horford) back to go along with Morgan, which means he won't be the only big guy on the floor for us in most situations. We were a very small team last year. That will not be the case this year.

14 year olds are a lot faster and bigger then pee wee. I'd prefer they know what they're doing already at that age. Learning if first at that age can seriously hurt a kid. Just my opinion.

Morgan played solid defense last year and rebounded ok, but he struggled on the offensive end because he was undersized and had no help. He has looked good in exhibition games this year and will no longer be our biggest guy on the floor in most situations. He will function more as a PF this year, which is his natural position.

How about you guys? You played us very tough last year, especially on defense. Are you expected to be better, worse or about the same? And did you lose any key starters?

The thought of being able to rotate Morgan, Horford, McGary, and Bieldeldt has me pumped for this year. Morgon basically manned the post by himself last year, with spot help from Smotz.
