    Over/under on UM's Big 10 losses at 3.5 in bball this year. What do you take?

    Over, I'd say 4 is the most likely scenario.

    Lot of tough losable games on the schedule, for a young team that is going to mean bumps on the road. Especially when a lot of those games are on the road. @OSU (likely win IMO), @Illinois, @Minny, @MSU, and @Indiana all in less than a month. Wow.

    Michigan is a great team, and I think the B1G being a great conference will only help all teams come March. It may hurt our rankings and seeds heading into the tournament, but every team in our league will have faced it's share of adversity throughout the year.

    The realist in me says 4 just because the road is so hard in the B1G. But I'm throwing my naturally cautious self out the window and taking the under.

    OSU doesn't match up well against Michigan at all.

    If you are going to beat Michigan you have to abuse them down low, tOSU really doesn't have anyone there to expose Michigan.

    Thomas will be a tough cover, but no one else on their squad scares me.

    Thomas should put up 30 and Williams should be able to work against Morgan/Mitchy.. Craft will lock down Burke to a degree.. OSU has athletes to run and defend UM's scorers (Smith, Thompson) and let's be honest, Timmy's due for a 2-13 shooting day

    Edit: Burke went 11/36 against OSU in the 3 games LY

    If UM beats OSU this week- I will begin to give UM props for being a very good team.. that will be a solid W against a good opponent on the road no less.

    And I doubt OSU would fall out of the top 20 if they beat Purdue earlier this week, even if they lose to UM

    Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

    Amir Williams career is less than 10 points. I'm sure he will put in some major work. The guy Spartans love to toss unwarranted criticism at Mitch McGary has already topped Amir Williams career high in points 3 times this year, and he's the backup. Who is more likely to work? Lulz

    Craft didn't shut down either of Illinois guards, both are clearly inferior to Burke. Why would he slow the best PG in the nation down?

    Look- Burke is a great player and will be a lottery pick no doubt.

    But hard to argue with the facts that Craft disrupted the flow that is Trey Burke in all 3 of their contests last year.

    5/11, 13 pts (road)
    6/14, 17 pts (home)
    1/11, 5 pts. (neutral)

    If Burke is held to 17 points on Sunday- odds are OSU is winning

    I'll take the under, assuming we are talking pre B10 tourney. I think we will lose 2-3 games.

    What's the over/under on MSU's B10 losses? As I've said previously, I think MSU will go 9-9 in B10 play this year.
