    Yes. And lock threads. And threaten bans. So I save most of my comments on the subject for tBB. Ironic that we have more freedom to criticize the BN staff on tBB than on the UM board, but it is what it is.

    RCMB is not owned by 247. It is a partnership arrangement. RCMB basically controls the content over there subject to some limits. Wolverine247 is owned by 247. Guys like Brewster and Worly and Wiltfong are 247 employees and they keep a tighter reign on what is posted.

    Ah yes, that's true. We only have Clint Brewster, Tremendous, and Mark Zakrajsek. (I think Mark was a co-writer at Tremendous, not sure though)

    Idk. On some level, it's not a fight you really can ever win. And I tried that once ... I was banned from tBB for awhile during the great antibigotry petition war. I was banned for criticizing a mod ... not calling him a name, but simply saying he did not enforce the rules equally. So tBB isn't utopia either. Here you can mock Kurelic and Helwagen's work all you want but criticize a mod at your own peril.

    All boards have their quirks. I came over from MGoBlog a little before TomVH left. MGoBlog has too much of a lemming mentality and God forbid if you don't worship Brian and all of his pet issues. I still lurk over there once in awhile but I haven't posted in a couple years. I use Rivals' and Scout's recruiting rankings and spend time over here to chat. It's easier to interact with other fanbases and even with UM fans who are able to form their own opinions without being spoonfed what to think.

  • Ok. So I've been poking around on this Drake Harris thing and there are a couple rumors floating around. One is that the miss on Jabari Parker was a very big deal to Harris. The other is that he actually quietly decommitted from MSU a couple weeks ago. I also vaguely remember someone posting on our board a couple weeks back that Harris might be on the market again. At the time, I came over to this thread and made a comment just to cause trouble (I admit it), but got the standard FU reaction. And we never heard anything more on the topic so the whole thing more or less died. Can any of the MSU posters (Rocky maybe?) confirm any of this? Does it even sound plausible? Are he and Parker close?
