I think you guys are underestimating our game against Northwestern. I mean, they ARE like Duke.

Hey, don't count anything in the big ten. Um/psu anybody?

If you have your choice, which do you choose?

Final four, BTT, BT championship. Choose.

Sure, it's fun to get another title in conference. However if some of us believe an it victory gives us a better shot at a final four because of seeding then why should we lie about it? I personally think it would. But if um wins that's cool too.

Final four means more to me. (and yes I want to win every game every year that's too easy).

    Loser mentality Wags.

FTFY, so our Michigan contingent can decide too. They haven't experienced 2 of your original 3 lately anyways.

100% would say Recruiting National Titles because they don't care about basketball.. just football and RNT speaks of the pigskin

    shrug

Hopefully... We're terrible on the road and world beaters at home.

    Notable home wins:
    Florida
    Mizzou
    Kentucky
    Tennessee
Only loss at home was a close game vs. Syracuse

    Notable road losses:
    South Carolina
    Vandy
    Mizzou by 30
    Florida by 17

    Kentucky, Mizzou, and TN suck.

Well... Compared to the rest of the SEC they're pretty good. Kentucky has a top class every year, TN has a lot of older players, and Mizzou is pretty solid.

So now, MSU, who is a top 10 program, needs to feel good about their season even if they don't make their goal of the Final Four? Like yay, at least we won the B1G or BTT? C'mon...

This is also the toughest the BTT field has been ever... sorry, but playing 3 games in 3 days all against top 20 competition, after an already grueling season isn't going to help MSU do anything except get more tired than they already are..

Give me the 2 seed.. 1 W and a L to OSU on Saturday.. rest up for the NCAAs 2 seed on Thursday at the Palace

Being tired shouldn't matter since you get 4 days off and that game is against a really crappy team that MSU or UM should beat by just showing up so really you hvae a week off until you play a 7/8/9/10 seed.

Cool, a night of Drake Harris talk by 16 year old jock sniffers. I can do useful things now. PM me when you've deciphered every word he says and figure out where he'll go.

It's been widely discussed where he will go. Did something change since we all concluded Drake will flip to Michigan? I don't understand what's so hard to figure out.

  • Michigan State has played the most difficult Big Ten schedule of the teams still in contention for the conference title.

The Spartans (23-7, 12-5) played the top five teams (other than themselves) in the conference standings twice: Indiana, Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Minnesota -- along with Nebraska and Purdue.

The Wolverines Big Ten schedule was the easiest, in terms of the number of games UM played against the three worst RPI teams in the league (6) compared to Michigan State and Ohio State, which only had four games against those same teams (Penn State, Northwestern, Purdue).

Big Ten schedule wasn't even; Michigan State basketball had toughest league slate

I know this is a good piece to flame uofm folks but it's not their fault or the Bball teams fault how their schedule falls. Next year our football schedule is going to be "easy" compared to others although I always maintain that those kids are on scholarship too. What I do think is a mistake for Michigan is to have such a talented team and not load up on away games against powerhouses that gives those kids a look at hostile unfamiliar surroundings. I'm convinced Michigan is a top four team when clicking on all cylinders which is capable of a final four and an NC. I'm not convinced all cylinders work on the road yet. We'll definitely find out.

Our football schedule was a ton harder than MSU's last year and you don't see us complaining about it.

OSU played some unreal defense vs. Indiana, in Assembly Hall too. If Craft keeps up his scoring streak they are a VERY dangerous team, Deshaun Thomas is the real deal and if you back him with a legit guard threat OSU could easily make the Final Four.

Until you factor in that Matta is one of the worst in-game coaches in the country.
