    During the halftime show the analysts were talking about Harvard, and Chuck mentioned that Harvard never sent him a letter to recruit him.

    Michael O'Connor has moved up his visit to this upcoming Monday. This is significant because it was known that MSU would be hosting at least one other QB next weekend (Durkin) and b/c Henderson is expected soon as well.
    It's very possible that O'Connor leaves East Lansing a Spartan.

    What's unique about this recruit, Wags, is that he has been MSU's #1 QB target ever since they saw him at their camp. So while recruiting rankings may not mean jack, the staff locking up their favorite at a position has got to be seen as an excellent sign.

    Dunno. I know the Michigan coaches were really high on him though. He was our 2nd option behind Wilton Speight, who is now committed. We had Speight and O'Connor higher on the board than 5* QB David Cornwell.

    Interesting to say the least.

    I never understood that whole rating thing. Coaches know who the want. Those services provide a great treasure of video tape, but the whole star system is crap. Get the kids you want. If you suck, that's on you. Suck often enough and a new guy will be evaluating talent. I chuckle at the girls on here who are sexually excited about five stars who haven't played a down. I hope our coaches get who they want. Then they gotta coach em up.

    Not as messed up as they were this time last year. Last year, my champion lost in the first round. lol

    I picked Belmont to upset Zona, and that didn't work out. Other misses I've had so far are I picked Ok St over Oregon and I picked Pitt over Wichita.

    I also picked UNLV over Cal, and that's not looking too good either.

    Yeah, we have O'Connor above 97 rated Henderson, who was rumored to have potentially tried pulling the trigger awhile ago. Just another feather in the "ratings are messed up" cap...
