    for example, one um fan responded to a msu (miss st) fan regarding the butt kickin in the bowl gam a couple yrs ago and had the nerve to say, " we had a lame duck coach and a team in transition"...seriously!

    but when they beat osu this yr with an interim coach and a team in total dissaray it was the win of the decade!!!!

    every recruit they land is better then the others ranked ahead of them...

    they never wanted garnett, or dunn, or diamond etc....

    even their tri champ hoops title, they were better then msu and osu (just ask em)

    poor trey burke was too tired during the osu big 10 second round game where they got exposed...

    etc....etc...

    at least when we (osu and msu) lose we admit it and move on...

    So it isn't ok for the Michigan fan to say that about the lame duck coach, but it ok for the tOSU fan to?

    Not every recruit, and we won't know until they see the field.

    I wanted all 3, sucked they went elsewhere.

    Better than MSU or tOSU? On certain nights, but not as a whole. I am happy with the championship though.

    First I heard of this about Burke.

    The fanbases are all the same, you read what you want though.

  • For proof of OSU's "admit it and move on" attitude, read one of the many threads following their loss to us about how the refs screwed them out of a win. Or how if Baxter makes one or two throws they'd have whipped our butt by 21.

    if osu or msu had 3 players defect (even tho 2 werent starters) the haters would be all over it...but when it happens to um all is well...

    perfect example was my point about a um fan telling a miss st fan about the lame duck coach and transitional crap...but when um wins its just a win...

    cant tell u how many times i have read or heard on the radio about msu's streak over um in football and um fans rationalizing the losses because of rr...why cant some um fans just give sparty their due?

    i congratulated all my um friends when u won last yr with no excuses...

    So when you say "they" you really mean the one guy who made a dumb comment. Gotcha. I'm on MGoBlog everyday and if anyone made a comment like you claim, they'd get negged, which means nobody agrees with the sentiment.

    Don't tell me Bucknutz isn't loaded with equally idiotic posters. I've read it myself.

    it was on the thread "who does your team own" and a um fan and sec (miss st) fan were going at it pretty good...

    When the Gator Bowl is something worth bragging about, that's a you problem.

    Owning someone is like how OSU did under Tressel or how MSU has owned us for the last 4 years. I would use that argument for the Miss St game, and I wouldn’t mind if you OSU guys used it for last year’s game. We still won but it probably wasn’t under the hardest of circumstances.

    c_woodson, give it up bro. When your team loses in the first round to a team named "Ohio", a name you call Ohio State to mock them, it should at least humble you a little. Right? I guess not.
