    Any word on Richard Ash? I'd assume you'd want to have him at NT and preserve Pipkins' RS.

    He hasn't been very impressive yet. I doubt Pipkins redshirts either way. The coaches really like their DL rotation.

    You implied that MSU and UM would be similar in football. That alone freaks out 99% of Michigan fans. They just can't handle it.

    It's what I've encountered over the last 4 years saying that MSU would be not only on the same level as UM but a better team. Michigan fans seem baffled by this...

    Haven't heard his name all spring. Roh and Heitzmann are the main two at SDE. Heitzmann took a RS year last year and was really impressive during the bowl practices especially and he must've beaten Brink early this spring.

    I believe Brink is sitting out spring for the most part healing from that broken leg he got before the bowl game.

    Ouch, I missed that one. Rather have a broken leg than a ligament injury, as messed up as that sounds.

  • MSU guys what’s up with James Young (2013) SG from Troy? Is he a MSU lean/lock right now or is he up for grabs? What’s a good comparison for his game? I’m planning on seeing one of his games this year.

    I don't know if MSU has offered yet. Weird situation that I don't recall all the specifics of. I know that's horribly non-specific, but that's all I know.

    This guy is exactly what I'm talking about...

    I'm not talking about the entire history of our programs vs. the last 4 years, I'm talking about the fact that 3 of the last 4 years occurred under RichRod and a system that isn't in place anymore. Right now you've got a 1-game sample size regarding Michigan's new pro-style system, and thanks to Denard, this isn't even the true pro-style that we'll eventually be running. I think it's perfectly fair to say that Michigan State has been kicking our asses of late, but I don't think you can use the last 4 years as evidence that the trend will continue in the future.

    ESPN has him at 10, he’s 21 on here IIRC, and he’s 16 on rivals IIRC. ESPN show’s that you guys have offered and 247 shows that we have offered so I’m not sure what the situation is. He’s got some interest in UK as well, but Cal hasn’t offered.

    If i remember correctly i think he has some serious academic issues. I really hate saying that about kids but that is what i remember reading.

He's not going anywhere and because of that, the MSU football program will continue to succeed regardless of UM's situation.
