  • It counts towards football. If they could utilize that loophole, the SEC would have 100+ football walk-ons who are on track scholarship.

    I've heard a decent amount of people saying MSU and people saying UM. I wonder if there is any confusion from the other Harris WR commitment today.

    Better BB school/still great WR development
    GR area seems to be slightly "greener"

    UM
    Reportedly had a great time at UM camp/liked coaches a lot
    I've heard his dad really like UM(could be wrong)
    Also I believe Webb broke the news(not sure about this either)

    I'm saying he goes to state also now.

    He hasn't visited with Belein and TomVH(ESPN) posted for us not to get our hopes up.

    Only way he goes Blue is if he suddenly decides to focus solely on Football(unlikely)

    Where are you seeing anyone say Michigan? I haven't seen one credible person think that.

    I know he wants to do both but I believe he'll eventually stick with basketball only. Two sports is incredibly hard to do in college especially when they are football and basketball.

    Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

    Yeah it was the best choice. My brother and mom have degrees from there. Are you saying sarcasm doesn't write. Half my family went to that damn school. I like the kid and even his friends he brings to my um/MSU tailgate where they devour most of my food.

    If you play 2 sports, does your scholly count against both sports?

    If it's football and anything, it counts towards football only. Other combo's would depend on what two sports it is, but someone would only count towards schollies in 1 sport.

    He should come to MSU and learn from the State high school record holder. In video below. Zach hill beat Duckets' record of 67 feet his senior year at Allendale.

    To answer your question. It's tough as hell to get to the Olympics. For every Zack Hill, there's 12 other guys who can kick his ass. I didn't see the kid throw, but to think that Zack Hill is only lgetting second team stuff, I'd think hard and long about what it's going to take to become an olympian.

    There is a junior girl from Reed City Michigan who runs the hurdles in in the 100 meter highs she is over one second better than anyone in Michigan. I think she has a shot at the olympics. I don't know about anyone else. Maybe I'm missing a distance guy or girl, but it's tough.

  • It sounds like Jay Harris was not exactly as undiscovered as some of us thought. Rivals is reporting that Harris indeed had offers from Penn State, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Rutgers, and Temple. Seems like a good player.

    Which makes me think...how do these services all learn and confirm offers?

    Wow, they JUST put that in after he committed. I saw his profile when he committed and it had Pitt and PSU, with no offers and no other schools in his interests
