Whatever, we can win our division and have the fourth place team in our conference go to a bcs. We get it. Ticket sales and old blood. I hope it makes the lads hungrier. We need to do more. We don't have the prestige that a paterno brought to you guys. Oh wait, sorry bout that.

It's still a BCS Bowl, and yes Reggie Bush was still on the team and the fact that they didn't vacate the season doesn't change the fact that Reggie Bush got paid when we played them.

Ive predicted that forever. If you can tell me what the weather is going to be like, whose injured and how the first three series go on October 20th, I'll try to be more accurate with the MSU/um game. Short of that, if I'm going to guess, I'm guessing we win. If im wrong you can bump it. Maybe it will get. You some promotion at work or something.

I hope you're right. I've followed MSU for years. I've suffered seasons more than I've enjoyed them. In the last 40 years 20 times we've had seasons of five wins or less. We've had ten coaches in 36 years. Duffy and Biggy were a long time ago. I was lucky enough to be a guest coach with Dantonio for about five summers. He's a very serious man, good teacher and fairly single minded. Seems like he has the ship steady. You'll forgive some of us if we sometimes hold our breath going into the season. I've seen the wheels come off too often not to. It seems different this time but MSU as a program is still miles away.

As much shit as UM fans give you about Dantonio (including me), he's a good coach. I don't like what he says sometimes, but he's a good coach. Also good at finding diamonds in the rough. Like Jerel Worthy, he was a 3* if I'm not mistaken. Even though I don't like him, I hope he continues to have success at MSU. The rivalry is better when both teams are good.

Coach Perles used to tell us that nothing good can come out of a Michigan win. I got what he meant. However, think about this, The teams you hate losing to you, then needing you to lose for them to pass you in the standings, and all year long you keep winning. It's a slow burn. Their fans are bitter, their team is scoreboard watching, their coaches are going crazy. More fun in my opinion, and frankly, if you just win, everything takes care of itself.

Wisconsin is a rival of MSU now? What happened to IU?

Seriously though it would be nice if Delaney made them your guy’s crossover instead of IU. Their crossover is Minnesota right? Minnesota can play IU.

It’s better for the rivalry when both teams are good. If not then you get a rivalry like Tulane and LSU where no once care’s because LSU destroys them.
