    Pretty good game. Michigan needs a QB that is a threat to throw. Good defenses like State's will take advantage. The penalties were bad but MSU shut down that offense. UM fans better hope Gardner learns in the next year. If they start shoelaces next year they won't be better than 7-5.

    I like Denard. He is exciting. He is just flawed. He does not seem to have grown as a QB between this year and last.

  • Good game, obviously state was the better team today. Their defense is scary good and should enjoy a nice win and season. You can see what this game means when they are picking up the Gatorade to dump on a coach like they won the NC. Four in a row and still acting like they have never been there before, obviously they have.

    I agree, I really don't think anyone likes the late hits or any of the stuff after the play.

    However, not a single one went uncalled and UM got a lot of yards off of penalties.

Good game though no way denard should be the QB anymore just not fit for it in this offense. the only bright spot i can take from this game is that our defense is much improved from last year and didnt allow any huge plays like last year. one thing that bothered me to no end was how big of a piece of shit Will Gholston is seriously, late hit on denard and tries to rip his helmet off, knee to the groin to a player on the ground, and last he punches Taylor Lewan in the face. Total Bullshit he should have been ejected from the game at the least. Legarrette blount punched that guy from boise in the face and was suspended for the rest of the year and kicked off the team. shows Dantonio's class. michigan didnt deserve to win but some of those things really irked me.

  • We had no answer for their defense, we couldn't throw the ball, we couldn't run the ball AND YET we had the ball with 4 minutes (or maybe it was 6) at midfield, down by 7 and a chance.
    The 4th down call to try to deceive instead of a QB sneak was the killer.

    The pick was Vincent Smith's fault. He wasn't even looking for the ball. The hot read, when both inside backer blitz is a fucking slant over the shallow middle and he didn't pick it up. Son of a bitch.

    We benefitted from Gholston and #44's classless bullshit and nobody should want that from their players.

    Finally, congratulations Spartans. 4 in a row leaves nothing more to be said.

    Refs were pretty meh the whole time.

    Lewan was 5 yards downfield for like your first 3 plays.
    Then the Lewis TD the taunting went uncalled (which is a retarded rule but should be enforced regardless).

    Gholston, Rush, and ARW roughing the passer penalties are inexcusable.

    Although Borges' play calling did you no favors.

    This was a first that I know of. He didn't get a lot of playing time last year agasint UM, so maybe it was just the emotion from the UM game.

    I don't know if he was downfield before the throw. I think on some there might be something there, but on the one mentioned by the announcer, it seemed like he was just blocking and ended up 3 yards downfield after the play had finished.
