Agreed, team chemistry, coaching, player coachability replacing parts that need replacing, hard work, and desire are all keys. Recruits and their potential are important also, imo.

If 2 different schools look at and evaluate the same kids and put those kids as priority Plan A recruits, and then one of the schools gets 20 of those kids and the other school can only gets 2 of those kids, that will force that second school to search elsewhere for kids that they didn't think were Plan A kids originally. Now they can still get good players, and even possibly find better football players, but that second team is going to be effected by losing that many kids to a specific school when they play against that team on a yearly basis.

That part is ok, but now we just get recruiting shoved down our throats. Old RCMB and there was some chatter of recruiting but not as much as there is now. I would prefer to be independent, keep the writers and get to a more functional message board.

If the school who only gets 2 of their plan A is used to getting 5 to 7 plan a's year to year because they lost plan a's to ND OSU u of m PSU Pitt rutgers Wisconsin etc in previous but this year lose plan a's to one or two of the schools listed, it would be almost beyond ignorant for any fanbase to think it would be different for said school. I wonder , for example, if anyone is really dumb enough to think ( and I'm just using this a's an example) a school like MSU let's say under Dantonio gets all their plan A's year to year???? Cause if they do, then Dantonio is a fool cause his classes are always #40 or 35 or whatever. So, for any fanbase to really be dumb enough to think anything will change because , for example only, Dantonio is losing his plan a's to a couple specific schools instead of many is kind of funny.

Dantonio has depth planned and works his plan every year. It's easy to pick out plan a's. Just get a pre-hyped mag and offer. The work comes in evaluating plan b's. Then the proof comes in how those plan b's work together play together and gel together.

The rest is just foolish pre season hype and recruit rankings.

What's done on the field. MSU has a staff that has proven they work hard at evaluating plan b and turn plan b players into studs.
