Same way a lot of us feel about Izzo. MSU fan’s will most likely never understand how Michigan fan’s feel the way they do about Bo, and Michigan fan’s will most likely never understand how MSU fan’s feel the way they do about Izzo.

Izzo got his natty though. Think of Boeheim before Carmelo. Tons of great teams and wins but could never close the deal.

The natty isn't the only thing. What you are failing to understand is that Bo created the culture at Michigan that led to Coach Carr having the opportunity to win his Natty.

Figures a sparty would say that. A real tantrum would include me smacking myself across the face, and I didn't do that. I don't get pissed, I just laugh at you spartys that always argue the same crap, FAB FIVE, and when that doesn't work, WALVIE, and that works less. You always accuse UM fans of not being grads or associated with the program, yet I NEVER see this go the other way.....we never accuse you msu 'grads' of being sparvalvirines. Why is that? Your academics are just as good, if not better, and you are a top 100 school, and if we can't see it we are idiots. Yet no UM fan ever accuses someone that claims a spartan degree to be a liar. Why?????? Riddle me that, sparty?

This thread usually bores me hence the reason I do not tend to post in it. Both sides say the same crap.

Because you are a troll. A fifty year old troll, with 'multiple degrees'. Never met one of those before. Anyone that mentions Tressel and Woody in the same breath, is a joke. Anyone that ranks Carr above Bo is an idiot. That's you. That post was all flame, and your uneducated azz knows it, but I'm sure your kids are proud. Now go act your age, and be a typical Sparty and tear down all the other programs, because your program is 'weak sauce', that's what my kid tells me is the new thing to say about something that just doesn't hold up to scrutiny. (That's you, little fella) No anger, just humor from me.

    lol

Listen junior, message board morons like yourself serve for great entertainment. I can only imagine how hard you are pushing the keys.

Like I said, you take this message board shit WAY too seriously. I think you need to take a step back, realize how much you are sounding like a blubbering buffoon, and GTFO of this thread. There's absolutely no point in posting here if you're just going to insult people the entire time when others are interested in honest, clean discussion. That goes for the MSU fans that are flaming and you as well, MrWoodson.

Do we really need to specify UMAA, and not Dearborn or Flint again? Most um fans don't want to bring up what education the Spartan fan has, most likely it is going to be higher than a HS degree. One of my favorite classes was labor econ, one of my easiest was something like ISS 201. When UM fans bring up degree's most the time we can produce them. If I want to talk to UM grads I'll call some of my family members. The sad thing is that you are doing the people I know who actually graduated from UMAA a disservice, at this point most of us can sniff out who went to umaa and who didn't.

Reason #2. The um fanbase is too arrogant. Its already been inbred in them that a MSU degree is worthless, so they actually assume that our college education is worth less than the fact they are a um fan. The walverine portion of the fanbase likes to leach off of those that actually put in the hard work to get a degree from UMAA and brag about how an institution they root for has some programs that are better. My self esteem and ego are fine, you are the one trying to prove you are better, what keeps you up at night?

Oh c'mon. The system favors you guys. UM had plenty of chances but he lost in the Rose Bowl countless times. I'm not going to dig through past seasons but I bet there were plenty where UM was top 5 heading into the Rose Bowl and then got slaughtered by a Pac 10 team.

The system favor’s us how? From being selected as BCS at large yes, but to get or to get to a NC, now and in Bo’s time it has been the same way for everyone else in a BCS conference were most of the time you had to finish undefeated in your season. Without a NCAA Tournament there would be no “Izzo Time”. If CBB was decided like CFB is/was I doubt Izzo would have the same success that he has had.

And if the only reason Izzo > Bo is because he has a NC, does that mean Fisher = Izzo and Billy Donanvan and Roy Willams > Izzo because they have 2? Also does that mean Chizik > Dantonio because GC has a NC?

No, it's a combo of a lot of things. Having a NC puts you into a more exclusive club. The more you get, the more you get deeper. It's not that hard to grasp. I think what hurts Bo the most is his ability to beat up on a lot of schools that didn't take football seriously but then get destroyed by the Pac 10. Winning the Big Ten is great, just ask Izzo, but it's not the greatest achievement.

I agree with you on the playoff stuff though. If college basketball was an invite only to the Final Four, you'd have a lot more FF's with Kentucky, Duke, UNC, and Kansas. Izzo wins his way in and has change the landscape of college basketball to include MSU as one of the top programs. Calhoun has done this as well but in a much shadier way with his rampant cheating.

Bo’s largest loss in a bowl was the 83 Rose Bowl where he lost UCLA 14-24. I don’t think that is getting destroyed. I have no problem with Sparties or Sparty’s saying Izzo > Bo. Although I don’t agree with that, Izzo is a great coach, and I can understand why some of you would feel that way. I just think saying Izzo > Bo because he has a NC is a stupid of an argument as the Fisher = Izzo one because they both have one.

Sparties saying it? lol. Jebus even the slappy Detroit Michigan loving radio announcers like karsch wojo stony have said Izzo on top as far as college coaches go regardless of sport. Those ain't Sparties, and who gives a crap anyway. The nation knows, and it ain't Bo. Hell, Carr>Bo. Facts are facts.

We have Izzo, Dantonio, Hollis. The zenith of ranking any big three at any college. I'll let my brethren link articles in that regard. I'm on a hand held in northern Michigan

Bo was ok, but you can't talk Bo without bringing his bowl record up.
