HOO question....y'all are the first away game for Penn St...is everybody gonna be on their best behavior? I see this as a potential issue....what are your thoughts?

Hoo knew any Hoo had a set. FHJ is one of my favorites. I have done stand-up once, albeit drunk of my rear and it was the most nerve-racking thing I have ever done. I speak in front of large groups all the time but this was a completely different beast.

Earlier in the thread I saw JoeHoo mention that it's a good thing UVA doesn't have a pep band any more, they may give PSU a hard time WVU style.

I'm positive UVA will show some class about that though. Hell, you guys almost hired Sandusky before Groh, right? I think we all realize it is a topic that shouldn't be used to degrade an opponent. Of course, there will always be your drunk people making comments.

I think we go 8-4 or 9-3. My only concern is the safety position.. if we can make it through louisana tech with just losing 2 games we have a good shot the rest of the way w/ the way the schedule sets up..

That is a pretty interesting hire. Guess it has to do with all of those Varina connections for the Hoos. Former VT roommate was a teacher at Varina when the Lewis brothers played there and said they are a great family.

I was reading his profile about his NFL experience, College experience, his family and I was half expecting a line about how he enjoys fishing, golf and hates UV, but they conveniently left that last part out.

NC State could be very good this year...you should handle MD easily, Wake is always a tough game, likely comes down to your QB production, if it is late in the year I think Sims is getting a stride

I had you all at 6-6 before Sims, he can be worth 2 wins IMO ...hard to predict you all now with a totally different guy at the helm, and I am assuming he is your QB, at least after halftime of game 1. You can play a totally different type of O with an arm like Sims back there, will your OL be able to buy time for longer developing plays? Are your WR good enough to make longer routes effective? How long will it take to get in sync with Lazor's O? I personally think your O is going to have to score a lot of points, more than last year.
