    If winning against you guys meant 10 year extensions for Newsome, Stiney, and Ocain, I'd still be rooting for us to kick he crap out of you.

  • In Hooville tonight, went to C&O for dinner. Nice place but a little foo foo...very cool old building. Food was very good.

    I think many would not have been terribly upset by losing last week to force changes, but no one wants to lose this weekend.

    MD leaving the ACC is very strange, I just don't see the benefit to them unless UVA were to follow, and I don't see that happening. The ACC schools will hammer them in football and especially BBall recruiting now. I also don't see that damaging the ACC enough for VT or anyone else wanting to bolt to the SEC or Big 12.

    We have about 1 out 25 posters on our board crying that the coaches suck and hoping we lose and hoping boosters quit sending money and fans don't go to games, blah, blah.

    To be honest this season was such a disappointment that changes are going to be made. We are no Alabama or LSU but we are not a 5-6 football team.

    We've got Disney planned. Otherwise I'd be there no matter what the records were.

    I'm a little worried about the future existence of the ACC. Hitching ourselves to the Carolina mafia wagon will only make us end up like Fredo. Both schools need to be listening to all opportunities.

  • Down vote me all you want, but were in a conference with lets call it 13 teams. Out of those 13, 3 can sell out their football stadium. That is just pathetic, this conference sucks at the absolute cash cow of a college sports. There are very few fun road trips for the fans, few marquee games.

    Please get us out of this shitbag conference ASAP.

  • I personally think this will be the shot heard around the conference switching world. I think by allowing ND to be only a partial member in football has pissed off some BOV'S more than they are letting on. I think this is only the beginning on the way to the Super Conference's that everybody was talking about. But make no mistake Swofford always seems to have something in his back pocket that nobody is thinking about.

    Here's the thing that this move just told us....... nobody cares how many butts are in the seats anymore. Fans no longer matter unless they have a cable box at home. Games can be free because the school is getting paid no matter what.

    College Football took it's first step toward the grave today.

  • I don't disagree how, however as a fan, I want to attend games that are packed, people are tailgating all day, gameday is there, teams are ranked. The ACC cannot offer that.

  • Whatever happens, I don't see VT and UVa being in the same conference long term. If I had to guess the outcome, VT and NCST to SEC, UVa and UNC to B10.
