    More than UVA has won in 60+ years in the ACC. I'm guessing you don't know our record vs Miami over the past 20 years. Oh yea, we beat #2 Miami, if that helps your caps lock beating top 5 teams argument.

    UVA isn't, and never will be a football school. You don't have the fan base for it, nor the mentality. You're a spring sports school. Cue the one trick pony line. I'm sure you'll fail to recognize we just swept you in 3 sports, but we don't need it as a crutch for the only sport that matters.

    You're right, we'll never be a "football" school, and quite frankly, we don't want to be. I think there is a ton more pride associated with having a very well rounded athletics department from top to bottom, with an occasional good-to-great football season thrown in every few years.

    Everyone has their own definition, but mine is a bowl game and a shot at the ACC crown.

    IMO, bowl games mean nothing now. 60% of 1A teams make a bowl game, so I don't consider that good at all, hell teams under .500 make bowl games.

    As for having a shot at the ACC crown, would that mean, making the title game? Because UVA has never come close to that. Sure you've had your chance to make it, but y'all can't do that, we smashed you both times, on your 2 luckiest seasons in 20 years. And as for great seasons, I'd say out of both schools, there is a total of 1 great season, and that's our 99 season, no other season for either school is near great.

    Whichever way you look at it, Tech has a history of. Choking in big games. Everyone is well aware of that fact.

    You want to hang your hat on one game with FSU which by the way you lost. Had you been in the league at that time it would have been one of many losses to them. And yes Miami in the big east, how many Big East titles did Tech win during those prime Miami years?

    haha we won more in the Big East than UVA has ever won in the ACC. Your best season in history when you beat the #1 team in the country we still beat you guys. Your best will never = our average. Thats got to be hard to live with!

I will stop you all before you start yes however many wins in arrow,football is king yada yada yada. In the grand scheme of things UVA is a top 10 sports program in the nation(the true little brother not top 100), UVA over 3 billion with a B total endowment(the true little brother a tad bit over 800 million with a m), UVA top 2 public school in the country(the true little brother around 50), UVA 19 national titles(the true little brother 0), I can continue but I do not think I need to.

    0 national titles in revenue sports, no one cares about your swimming titles.

    As for endowments, UVA is a great university, but your football program is awful, and you've got an idiot running it. Since we're on a football message board, that's usually what's discussed, unless your team sucks, then you bring up endowments.

    and you're wrong, they are not revenue generating sports.

    No one cares about Lax titles. Esp when there are only around 40 teams that play each year. Same with Women's Rowing (less than 30 teams).
