This reminds me of a funny story from my days at Virginia Tech.

I came out of my apartment one morning heading for the transit stop and stopped to grab my mail on the way out. It was a master mailbox for the entire building located in the breezeway with a pinboard mounted beside it on the wall. The board was always filled with the typical college apartment housing fliers...."Lost Cat"...."Need a Drummer?"....etc...etc. I seldom paid it much attention. But, on this morning a flier caught my eye. It said "FREE!" in huge letters right across the top and ust below that it read: "One free ass-kicking for the asshole that sprayed my car with a fire extinguisher last night."

I literally laughed out loud, thinking "I bet that poor SOB is pissed...getting his car sprayed down with a fire-extinguisher...what a pain in the ass that's gonna be to clean up!" I grabbed my mail and headed across the parking lot when I saw it. His car was TOTALLY covered in white. It was dried and crusty. A total mess!....And right beside it ... ... ... my car. Completely covered. Also total mess. I , too, was the victim of the fire extinguisher vandal. Got dang-it!

Reminds me of a story

In college, Waterhead (The name fit well) was in the shower, and as was often the case, I carded the door to the bathroom and threw a bucket of ice water in the shower, really just to hear him scream. A minute or two later I walk by the bathroom, and he opens the door and he throws a cup of water on me.

Time for Smitty to turn it up a notch. I grab the fire extinguisher, have a bud again card the door and fling open the door, and there is old waterhead, buck nekid, with shampoo bottles full of water in each hand, which he starts to fire at me. I hit him with the fire extinguisher, and let me tell you, you discharge one of those in a small confined area, and it is crazy. I'm in the foyer, and under the cover of extinguisher, I slam the door to the suite to make waterhead think I went out, then I duck back into the room. Ole waterhead can't see and is furious. Thinking I just ran out of the suite into the hall, he runs out in the hall, buck nekid, and covered from head to toe in white foam. I stepped out of the room and lock the door to the suite, just as the fire alarm goes off. Needless to say, he was kind of pissed at me for a while.

Can't beat VA state schools (without living in liberal California).

A 3 star that obviously your staff wanted.. Now if Cook and Chavis make their scheduled visit to VT then I would be extremely worried if I was a Hoo fan, assuming we have room for them which I have no idea if we do or not.

this guy barely entered our conversation tbh...I would love to keep Cook and Chavis, but neither are that impressive (Cook more than Chavis)..not losing sleep over it..

Two points in reagrds to your list.

1. My VMI degree is (as kezki says) more "vauable" than a UVA degree. But again, employeers could give two shits where someone went.
2. All service acadamies (AF/NAVY/ARMY) should be tied because an O-2 makes the same, no matter the branch, however locality, BAH/BAQ, and Haz Duty Pay could be different depending on the tour. Also, time in service may come in play, but most of the service academy grads have no time in service. Henceforth, that list is a little flawed.

I won't argue your service degree obviously..that being said...CML will take us to a bowl and beyond this coming year

Beach Hokie sucks and so does 757Hokie11... Chad you will have to tell if they have anything worthwhile to say though I've got them both on my ignore list.
