    When was the last time UVA had an outright ACC title? Can you pronounce "never." There is nothing you can say to defend that. That is absolutely terrible. Almost 60 years. Zero.

    When was the last time the Hokies won a natty in any sport? Can you once again pronounce the word "never"? You have an empty trophy case that collects nothing but dust. Come take a look at our trophy case. It will be an enlightening experience for you. The likes of which you will never see in that empty trophy case of yours. You will always play the role of little brother.

    So Al Groh is a good coach then right? He wouldn't have coached UVA for 9 years if that wasnt true (per your very own words).

    Being a coach doesn't make you good, that's why people get fired. Going to make a run at the ACC? Hahahah I'm assuming you are banking on FSU, UNC, VT, GT, Miami, Clemson all leaving. Only logical thought.

    just like how all the techsters thought the oline would be ok after losing, what, 4 starters. and how they would once again, win the ACC and make a run at the championship, behind their heisman QB. what i think playahata was trying to say is, that if London doesn't do anything with what he'll have in 2014 he aint worth beans

    I didnt miss anything, everything I stated was a fact. Congrats on that win over 6-6 Miami, thats a huge accomplishment. Nothing like beating a .500 team.

    First, no one thought our OL was good 2 years ago, so no one thought theyd be ok this year. They have sucked for 6 years, and that hasnt changed, They will most likely suck next year too, as the talent is lacking.

    However, VT fans expecting to win the ACC is a lot different than UVA fans expecting to make a run. VT has won the ACC outright 45% of the years they have been in the ACC. UVA has won it outright 0%, and shared a title in 3% of the years they have been in it.

  • pardon us for preseason expectations of winning the ACC and having 10 wins. Do it enough times and you get to expect it. Don't know that anyone really believed we would play for a natty this year. I am optimistic that we will get back to winning next year as the offense cannot possibly be any worse than it has been with the Offensive coaches we have had for the last 8 years. Don't you all have some rinky dink sport no one cares about to cheer for?

    The only reason "you" don't care about those sports is because as a tech fan you have nothing to cheer for once football season is over. And you are not even elite in football. Sports for you guys is over now. 1--27... soon to be 1-28...

    You are correct, but two things VT wasn't in the ACC then and Shawn Moore had broken his thumb the week before against Maryland and didn't even play against VT.

    I will repeat... when was the last time tech beat Miami and FSU in their backyards in the same season? It is a very simple question that does not require a great deal of research....

    We may very well suffer an ass whoopin' next year but it won't be in Charlottesville. You guys could have NFL players on your roster and London would find a way to eff it up. Face it, London will end up flip floppin' QB's (between Sims and Lambert) so by the time our game comes around, it'll be more of the same. And by the looks of your DC search, with Tenuta at the helm, we could let Stiney call the plays and still curb stomp your boys.

    After watching the debacle your offense displayed against Rutgers I doubt you will be curb stomping anyone. The only thing you will be stomping is the donkey dung in your own back yard.

  • Va tech football is in decline. Your coaching staff is
    Old and in decline. Your fans are in decline. Your attendance for bowl games is in decline. Your recruiting as a whole over the last six years is in decline. Your dominance of the tidewater is in decline. It is so bad that hokie nation (whatever that is) wants to can the entire coaching staff, which means your excitement level is in decline. Decline is the key word here. Meanwhile UVA is now the preferred destination for much of the state's top talent. LOL I can't wait to hear the responses to this post. Hokies are seeing red and pulling their tooth out.

Beamer's rebuilding our offensive staff which, by far, is the weakest part of our team while London fires his DC whose defense ranked 37th in the country. The fact he fired Reid and kept Poindexter is mind boggling. London's a very good recruiter but the honeymoon is over.....the "new car smell" is fading and it's coming down to London's ability to coach which, as everyone knows, is very poor. Keep it comin' raleigh with the "we'll beat VT's ass NEXT YEAR...."

    London is not far removed from being named ACC coach of the year. Now the "new car smell" will only wear off once it has been driven for a while. This car still has very low milage. London's recruits were young kids this year. The results of his recruiting have yet to be fully realized. It will make no difference what Beamer does with his staff. The tide has now turned and ass whoopings are in order.... stand in line Hokies and take it like men.
