Maybe you should go to your board and hail your great classes. You Hokies gripe about no OL recruits, about how soft recent recruits play. On your own boards you complain and cry like whining little girls about your decline. Yet on here you try and make Beamer something he has never been. Yea you had some success over the past few years in a weak ACC but when it came time to perform on a national level Beamer has been a total flop.

We do hail our great classes. We're ecstatic about the future, why would we not be? And who doesn't want a better OL and OL class, is that bad to wish for something better? If we had a better OL in 09 could've beat Bama. In the past few years we've won a BCS bowl, our conference 4 times, our division 6 times, and are a top 10 winningest program since 2000, I think a good number of people, maybe not you, would say Beamer is a pretty damn good coach.

I said in an earlier post that tech has put together two nice recent classes. I was looking at the last 5 or 6 years as a whole. I am not alone with this thought. It was discussed recently on ESPN radio (David Glenn). It has also been discussed and acknowledged by people within tech circles. That being said, it is true that tech has improved their star ratings. But these are not the blue collar lunch box players that Beamer built his program with. Those guys worked hard and played with a chip on their shoulder. That is what Beamer ball was about. Not players who believe that just because they have 4 stars that all they have to do is walk out onto The field and they are owed something. This mentality has been creeping in to tech football for 5 plus years. Along with this change has come the demise of beamerball. Can you get it back, yes. But it all starts at the top and Beamer at times acts more concerned about making excuses rather than what is actually taking place on the field. That has to be fixed, or tech fans will run him out of town like some are trying to do now.

Why wouldn't I bring up basketball? Since joining the ACC were 9-9 against UVa, have more wins, and more ACC wins. Don't act like y'all are good at basketball or anything.

Well nothing like having an energetic mall cop as your coach, sure wouldn't want some wornout guy that wins. Love energetic losses.

well then why are you all still light years ahead of UVA in football when the game was decided on a time expiring field goal? or how UVA has been neck and neck in recruiting?
