    I would consider the past 5 years or so "recent." Pre-2004 is almost a decade ago. I would not consider that recent. We beat LSU in 2002, but nobody cares about that anymore.

  • For all the bad mouthing I have done over the years about D Hall, he had one of the best post game interviews I have ever seen. Sounded intelligent, humble, and very respectful.

    oh in no way shape or form do i. in fact I'm open arms for a staff trade. but UVA has recruited just as good, except for this 2013 class. if UVA goes 7-5 or better with a win over tech will have a top 10 class for 2014.

    Y'all were better in the 60s, awesome. Why wouldn't we compare the years that we've been on a level playing field? Y'all just the the fact that our other sports are improving, and we still don't need them as a crutch.

    Tenuta would be a bad hire to some of us. but UVAs AD is a known ignoramus like your buddy Chad. but i say London should go at least 8-4 including a VT win or he should go cause it would just be putting off the inevitable. AD has a problem with keeping coaches around way too long. whats the excitement about Pep from you all?

    Are you asking why we are excited that he is a possibility, or why we think he would be a possibility?

    If you're asking why we are excited for him to possibly be our OC...have you seen our offense the last decade? Any joe shmo sitting in the stands could step in and be an upgrade.

    They may not want him fired but they want him to not be the football coach and go into fundraising. That's a topic that has been discussed by the Hokie Club itself.

    And wouldn't we be more qualified to criticize London, seeing that we know what a successful coach looks like, while y'all just build hype for shitty coaches, Groh, London, Leitao.

    If you don't accept 7-6 seasons, you're going to be miserable in the coming years. I know a lot of you think this coaching shake-up is going to magically take you back to winning 10 games a season. That's not going to happen, you are going to have to ride out Beamer's golden years just like Penn State had to do with Joe Pa and FSU did with Bobby Bowden. It's just a fact of life.

    1. This is the ACC, 10 wins is always a strong possibility for VT, as has been proven
    2. Those old farts didn't make changes until way too late, while everyone w a TV knew VTs O was awful, we kept winning. These changes can't make our O worse, and we will have a top 15 D for many years to come. If the O becomes just average or just above average, we win a S to of games.

    Pep is a good recruiter, comes from a hell of a program, and runs an O that would work very well w our D....and losing the OC, OLC, QBC we had is a huge addition by subtraction.

    FSU is not well coached
