    Whats yalls thoughts on Tenuta?

    Tenuta doesn't really send me screaming for joy but its a solid hire and I think his schemes fit what we're trying to build with the defensive personnel. I think we overpaid but hey, that's what we do. We don't seem to mind.

    If London is so poor of a coach that he needs TOB to come in and coach him up, why wouldn't you just fire London and make TOB the HC? Seems much more logical to me.

    Don't worry thats what happens next year when you go 4-8 again. Nothing like giving a guy who just got fired a raise at another school. CLASSIC UVA

    Is it not funny to see post from chokies (1-27, soon to be 1-28) like the one above. They cant accept the fact that they are being outflanked on every side. Now lets remember these hokie fans have had to witness their beloved hokies choke on the big stage for over two decades. They piled up ten win seasons by eating cupcakes for two decades. Now these same people who want their entire staff canned are experts at coaching hires at other schools. You had your chance and you failed. You could not deliver at crunch time. You got blown off the big stage by real big time teams. Now you have a new coaching staff up the road that is going to finish you off and put you out of your misery. Go Hoos...

    What did I predict, thanks for the downvote btw. Only thing I said is you would have 4 losses coming out of September and PSU gave you the easiest win I've ever seen. Sorry I missed by 1 game. You're right I was wrong, you really overachieved in your strong 4-8 season.

    We scored 34, 51, 27, 27, and 20.

    That's an average of 31.8 points per game with a 4-1 record, the one loss coming when Calvin Johnson went absolutely ape-shit and beat us by himself pretty much.

    He only wins 58% of his games, and has never had a 10 win season. While I think he is an upgrade over London, and definitely an upgrade over the staff of recruiters you had last year, there is a reason he was fired.

    He has won 8 bowl games in 16 years of being a head coach. Beamer has won what 9 in what 3 decades?
