    Tenuta: I think you should have kept Reid if this was the best you could do...unless TOB wanted this as part of his deal to come?

    This is my thought as well. I thought Reid did a very good job with what he had to work with last year.

    Regardless of title, Tenuta was not calling the plays; Archer was. I imagine he was involved in a high level with some of the game planning, but when the game came on, I'm pretty sure the calls were Archer's. It's not essentially being the DC unless it's your scheme being implemented or your calls on game day.

    That said, I'm still interested to see how a Tenuta run defense looks. As you mentioned, I thought Reid did fine with what he had, but hopefully, Tenuta can be more disruptive.

    As far as your friends are concerned, I'm glad you only have twenty, so you can still count them on all of your digits. That makes it easy, though I may be making a pretty steep assumption that you actually have all your limbs and extremities intact.

    Seriously I think he would be a great hire for VT. I just think VT going to have to pay more for him then Bud to be able have a chance. He currently making over 600K a year at Stanford. If the fanbase really likes him I would bring him to take over for Frank when he decides to hang it. That very well could be after the 2014 season.

No elaboration etc... I thought it was well known that London told Watford he would play his true freshman year hence the flip flopping.

    It had to be Lazor as he is the one that recruits the QB's so he may have been the one that promised him a shot. And it didn't work out by the fifth game it as all Rocco and Watford got mop up duty. He redshrits last year and some say he's looking good on the practice this year compared to his freshman year.

  • Sorry 5284. Gonna have to go with playahata on this one. While he was ceo-ing his multi-billion dollar company he got the real story from Corey's uncle's, couisn's, godfather. Although you may think the guy is just regurgitating info he reads on $9.95 a month websites, he is truly plugged in. You've been lucky to get a few recruiting nuggets from the Richmond area, but this guy has knowledge on a national level. He has proven to be 100% accurate. I would give up on the argument before playahata makes you look silly.

    Where is this 600k coming from? I remember seeing it in this thread but I'm not sure if it was you who originally posted it. I'm not doubting the figure, but I'm curious as to how you would know that since they are a private university and this info is not out there to the public. Stanford also has a reputation of not paying their assistants very well.

    To be fair, I don't read all of your posts, or anyone's, so I really don't care. However, Corey wasnt down to UVA and VT. I know very much what is true, I talk to Corey, just like I talk to Ant Harris a good amount. Met up with him on Thursday, one of the best kids around.

    And no, Pep is not coming to VT.

Your not correct macollin34, I've got numerous examples of what 5284 hasn't been right about, I've got 2 PM's in my inbox as of this morning from people showing what's he's been wrong about.
