why would the o coordinator at Stanford move to tech. Honest question not trying to insult. Stanford as a program is more prestigious at the moment and I would assume they have more money to offer as an institution. Not to mention the west coast weather and solid returning offense. Really looking for an honest answer from some VT fans.

Pep is an East coast guy, went to Howard and some people say he wants to come back toward home.. Palo Alto cost of living is ridiculously high, as successful Stanford is they don't have a big fan base/following.

Advantages for VT = closer to home, cost of living a lot less, much higher salary that what he is getting now, ability to run our offense and bring in his own guys.. Also a stronger fan base/following.

Things are quiet right now with plenty of rumors around that Pep has already accepted the job but our guru's say that isn't the case. Time will tell.

Sorry if already discussed, but UVA...I see your Penn State game may be cancelled next year? That blows...

Also just to clarify, Pep wasn't the only person Frank called weeks leading up to the coaches convention but it was just feeling out interested parties that Frank had an interest in. It's also been said that after he interviewed Pep he did indeed interview the others that he said he wanted to talk to.

That tracks with everything I have heard. Not done, but supposedly very close.

This is somewhat true. However one of the biggest sticking points is whether or not Frank can handle a guy that's going to be gone in 2-3 years. That's the exact opposite of how Frank works.

Who knows? I was told Thursday or Friday at the latest now being told next Monday or Tuesday. I think he wants all the coaches announced at the same time is what I'm hearing and I know that drives you guys up a wall, it would me too. But like I said Pep is going to be the OC, don't know the other coaches yet was just told he was interviewing from 3 leagues, College, NFL, & CFL.

Question: do you guys want LT to return?

4 years, or if Bucky is a stud, he will ride his career out, imo.

I don't think it matters if Bucky is a stud or not. 4 years is it, I trust the guy he goes on vacation once with Frank every year and I golfed with both of them a couple of years ago at a charity golf tournament here in Roanoke. Frank is a good man, don't care if he coaches at VT or not I had a blast that day, and oh by the way Frank can put some beer away too. LOL!!
