    The fact that a QB cannot handle not being told he's THE guy tells me all I want to know about said QB.

    I thank him for his service and I move on.

    In Rocco's defense, he was jerked around two seasons ago during Watford's freshman year, proved himself as the starter (finally) and then the same sh*t happens the next year.......it's not like he would've had a snowball's chance to start next year, not necessarily because he wasn't good enough but because London clearly wants Sims to be the starter. It'll be interesting to see if Lambert get's a fair opportunity to earn the position. I've heard he may be the best QB on the roster.

    Can't help the fact that Stanford said they would match any offer. I said if the money got worked out, nobody including Pep expected Stanford to be willing to match what VT was offering.

    Bucky needs to redshirt, as most QBs do. It will either be Logan or Leal next year.

    Logan staying or going depends on the QB coach hire.

    Maybe not if the NFL wants him, but VT wanted him and he turned it down. It was his job a couple of days ago. I'll be honest with you I'm glad he didn't he would have been a big pain in the ass for UVA.

    I don't think it matters if Bucky is a stud or not. 4 years is it, I trust the guy he goes on vacation once with Frank every year and I golfed with both of them a couple of years ago at a charity golf tournament here in Roanoke. Frank is a good man, don't care if he coaches at VT or not I had a blast that day, and oh by the way Frank can put some beer away too. LOL!!

    We will see, but I wouldnt bank on 4 years either way. Id say give, give or take 1 is the true answer.

    Spin spin spin my boy. As I said from the get go, the Pep stuff was blown out of proportion. Yes VT pursued him very hard, but we didnt get him, as I said we wouldnt. I was 100% dead on, again.

  • I'll agree with that, if he has a real shot at a NC after 4 more years I could see him staying a 5th, but also the other way around if things don't go as well as planned with his staff makeover and the success just isn't there it could be under 4 years.

    You didn't know you wouldn't get him, all Stanford had to do was not match the money VT offered and he would have said yes, and that was pretty much the impression he left when VT made the offer.

    Could be 3, could be 4, could be 5, if Bucky is a stud, and we have a great team heading into his RS-Sr year, Frank will stay, assuming his health is ok. 4 is not set in stone was my point.
