    Not on a daily basis, however, I have asked him straight up, since the season was over. Ive also talked to his mom about it. She is just glad that he graduated.

  • Chuck Long?? I will give it to Frank he kept my source in the dark on that one. I guess that what he meant by searching border to border it looks like he found Chuck Long in San Diego. I know this ain't going over well in Hokie land. Sorry to the Hokies I like on this board, but in your face 5284 stick that in your pipe. I guess your buddy Shane O Mac can still be the RB coach now.

    That's gotta be a trial balloon. No way they're serious. A HS WR coach that's been out of college football for over a decade? No ties to this area for recruiting? Does he even know how to draw up a game plan that's relevant to today's college game? What about all of the talk that VT was going back to ball-control/smash-mouth? I would have applauded the Pep hire x10, but this? This is their Plan B? Some guy whose name sounds like a weekly steak and cheese sub special at Subway? Wow. I still don't believe it.

I will be sending an email as soon as it becomes official and letting the AD that my donation will be revoked, and ill donate directly to other sports.

    BTW when youre 40 and come up with names like chokies, shane o mac, and so forth, it just makes you look stupid, and lose credibility.

    Don't even compare Chuck Long to Tenuta. At least Tenuta doesn't have any breaks in his resume. Chuck Long was coaching HS kids last year. And Chuck Long was really fired from a job. Yes. Fired. As in canned.

    We'll let the media be the judge of this hire. I didn't see any negative reaction in the press about the Tenuta hire. Let's see if the reaction is the same if Long is hired. Which I still don't think will happen.
