    So were we...You guys are out unless you win the ACC tourney which isn't happening.

    I don't think we should be in without beating Maryland and winning two games in the ACCT. We won't have to win the tourney in my opinion especailly if we lose to Duke, Miami, UNC, NC State. All those teams help our RPI even in a loss especially the first 3 mentioned. UNC is 20 Miami is 3 and Duke is 1.

    Not because I'm a UVA fan, you guys don't want to play us, We are one of the worst matchups for you. You don't have the firepower besides Green to be able to attack UVA's defense all game long. You don't have the bench either. Certain teams just match up better, we matched up better with a bigger UNC lineup we seen when we beat them in Charlottesville and didn't match up well with their smaller quicker lineup in Chapel Hill and lost. Just like we matched up well with Duke without Ryan Kelly and if we play them again with him we won't match up well.

    Green matches up with anyone. The rest of the team matches up with no one.

    This UVA bubble team and VTs from those couple of years don't compare well at all. UVA has better wins and more bad losses. If they beat UMD and win a couple in the ACCT, they're definitely in.

    VT usually had good wins and not as bad a losses...but we had Greenburg, and you have a likable coach, IMO that is the biggest difference. The 2 extra Conf games makes it difficult to compare too....your bad losses...are REALLY bad, hard to fathom actually.

    Agree with PH, UVA is a bad match up for VT, but so is everyone else.

    The truth of the matter is that they had the only three time NCAA POY and were expected to be national title contenders every year from 1981-83. Never really came close. In fact, never even won a conference title.

    I typical UVA fashion their allergy to any type of revenue sport championship was too much to overcome. Choked on their own mucus.

    Cue the Hoo(ver) fans to come tell me about Wally Walker in 3.....2......1. And I don't blame you. After all, it's your only outright revenue sport championship in the history of your school

  • IMO you need 3 more wins, I don't see 2 being enough. There are too many reasons on your résumé to not take you unless you win more. MD is a nice win, a first round win will not be a good win.
