VT how is your OL looking? Didnt you guys get a big transfer from UGA? Benedict? Hows he working out, if I recall he was a big prospect out of HS.

If I had to pick a current or past player from you guys I would pick one of your DBs Exum or Fuller from current, we are very young there. Past could be a couple guys; obviously Vick or Bruce Smith, but I really liked Lee Suggs for you guys too. Him and Kevin Jones were a deadly tandem. So I would take one of the 3.

Sadly, if you look at our recruiting the last 4 years you can look at the classes and tell what position will be the strengths and the weaknesses of our team going into the future....DBs, DL, RB, QB all strengths, LB should be good too even after missing on the 11 class. OL is a spot I just don't feel good about

Yep, the usual. I'd say we have 3 OG's and 3 OT's that could start. I like Caleb Farris starting at right guard as opposed to Benedict. I think he is the best lineman we have. I've spent a bit of time over the past couple years with Caleb and his folks, so I am extremely biased. Still, if we are good to go with Becton, Wang, Miller, Farris, and Painter, with solid back ups, the OL won't be bad. The killer year after year is depth. If we have one or two key injuries prior to the season, we are too damn thin to adequately overcome it.

I remember when yall landed him I figured he would be a monster, had a bunch of SEC offers and great size coming out of HS. I figured he had graduated since I hadnt heard much about him.

Yall have Roberts at WR coming back from injury right?? That should be a good boost there, right?

Painter, not sure if it was the light not coming on or the schemes not fitting him? He is a beast physically, just hoping we didn't screw up by not getting him reps last year and playing the rust out of him. He was a top 100 guy.

Roberts is back at WR, he will be a huge boost, and if does KO is one off if not the best in the ACC at returns. Our top 3 WR are as good as we can hope for in Coles, Roberts, Davis, and all are pretty big targets. Need DJ to heal up, he has a lingering knee injury. We lost 2 starters at WR but return 3 starters for all intents and purposes. DL is similar, we return 10 starters on our DL, we had a ton of injuries last year on D, so we had a lot of guys that started much of the year, but the guys they repalced are returning.

roberts was a beast coming out of hs.. my fav recruit his senior year..i always thought he shouldve been a running back in college even though no one recruited him there..

Is it just me or does anyone else think DJ Coles and Kai Parham are twins??? At least related!

I will probably get some flack for saying this and have not read anyone's response to your question yet but I think Arden might be a trolling genius. He is a Hoo from the other site that is able to get a five page thread going with Hokie fans by being as ridiculous and asinine as possible. A lot of Hokies fall for it every single damn time. I used to be one of them until I figured out his game. Now his stuff is hilarious.
