    I don't get how 5 guys in 7 years means this much to you guys.. There's been a TON of guys you recruited from Louisiana that you didn't get.. You mean to say Saban has wanted just 1 guy from Louisiana each year?

    He said we get some guys from LA, not all.

    I'd say we do pretty well. Of course we don't get them all but we have gotten Tim Williams (#3 player in LA) and Landon Collins (#1 player in LA) the past 2 cycles. I'd say those were pretty big time gets.

    Add Eddie Lacy, Kenny Bell, Raheem Falkins. As you said, LSU does a great job locking down the state for the most part with no in-state competition but Bama does as well as anyone else. I think getting the top player last year and a top 3 player this year is solid.

    I'll give you Collins for sure... but Tim Williams and LSU parted ways months before his commitment to Bama.

    We will learn a lot this cycle with Fournette, Cam Robinson, and Hootie Jones... those are 3 bigtime recruits who we obviously hope to keep in LA
