HIMYM - I thought season six was the weakest ofthe bunch but they redeemed themselves most of last season, even with the retreads. This season so far has just been so-so.

    Person of Interest - Underrated.

Last Resort - Been meaning to watch this. I really enjoyed Shawn Ryan's last show Chicago Code, but it got cut down short. Hope you're wrong about this one getting cancelled.

Time and change will surely (truly) show How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!

  • Person of Interest is one of the best network shows. The actors really fit their roles.

The whole direction Marshall and Lilly have gone in HIMYM is really boring. The show used to be so much better, but I agree season 6 was the worst.

ABC screwed Last Resort from the beginning. Any show that has to go up against Big Bang Theory and X-Factor/American Idol (can't remember which) is screwed if it's a freshman show. The ratings are abysmal, but I don't really know what they could have expected in that death slot. It's more a 9 or 10 o'clock show anyway. I'm really curious what the long term goals of the show are, because it seems like it'd be a better mini-series from a plot premise.

I'm 2/3 of the way through the Emberverse book series, which Revolution borrows a lot from. The two can't even compare.

No clue about the book series.

The show is horribly written and the acting is even worse.

It amazes me what good shows get early axes and what half-assed ones thrive.

  • Last resort is already on the verge of cancellation...

    what I am watching:

    Person of Interest (great show)
Nikita (very underrated and full of hot chicks-season premiere tonight)

And then a lot of cable shows:

    Burn Notice
    Covert Affairs
    White Collar
    Suits
    Royal Pains

Justified on FX (best show on TV for my $$$)

    and premium shows

    Homeland (awesome)
    GOT
    Boardwalk Empire

this is because network TV sucks....they are given almost no time to let a show find its audience, etc,....cable shows and premiums (HBO/SHOWTIME) are where it's at

Yeah NBC is the one that will fart out a hit here and there but for the most part all networks have gone full retard as have many basic cable stations

I will only watch HBO and some Showtime outside of my netflix

AMC has some good shows. I really like Mad Men and Breaking Bad. Walking Dead is okay.

NBC is a ticking time bomb and messes up everything it touches. ABC isn't far behind them lately. Fox hasn't been bad lately, but I'll never forgive them for what they did to Firefly. CBS owns network television ratings.

USA has a lot of great shows (Psych, White Collar, Suits, Burn Notice..etc). AMC has been doing their thing the last few year. FX has some great comedies.

I actually liked Falling Skies from TNT quite a bit as well.

I wish they would move Community to USA since NBC owns USA Network.

Mad Men is the best show on TV right now IMO. But I'm biased 'cause I'm in the advertising business. lol

Most shows on networks suck, and that's disappointing. There are some decent ones, though, and some I'd like to give a shot:

    ABC
    Once Upon a Time
    Modern Family
    666 Park Avenue (?)
    Last Resort (?)

    CBS
    The Big Bang Theory
    How I Met Your Mother

    FOX
    Family Guy

    NBC
    30 Rock
    Community (R.I.P.)
    Parks and Recreation
    Revolution (?)

Compared to how many TV shows the networks put out, though, that's pretty embarrassing.

Season 2 is way darker and crude.

I enjoy it, but the first one is better
