Yep, late 80s model. I'm a fan of the all black with gold accents helmet below -- think they should stick with it.

These are the two helmets that need to have a live grenade placed inside of them. No other helmet is more repulsive than these.

Adidas is so terrible. Our contract with them is up in 2014, I'm praying to god we don't re-sign with them.

When I first joined 247 I was checking out all the different teams boards and when I was on the Michigan board I remember someone started a thread about boycotting Adidas because your basketball jerseys went from maize to "highlighter yellow" I think the term that this poster used.
But yeah I agree, leave the non traditional creative stuff to Nike until Adidas knows what the hell they're doing.
